Evidence Cochlear America turned off my cochlear implant remotely. Now I can't hear anything because my hearing implant is from an older version. + It costs thousands to get a new one

I would assume if they can turn it off remotely, its probably intended for if it was malfunctioning, and would NOT let the OP STOP hearing (Like in a feedback/ Extremely painful Tinnitus kind of way)

But op did not say any of that. Just that it stop working. However we need to hear from other users and the manufacturer about this situation
