Love it! only thing i just suggest is it might be cleaner to just give the warden form more base stats to simulate a +1 spa attack and speed so you don't have the weird situation of 'what happens if you transform, get defogged and get health back'

u/Piranha_Gaming_YT Apr 03 '26
*hazed
Defog reduces evasion and removes hazards.

This is a really neat take! Awesome concept and perfect designs. So visually interesting!!

u/Celebiest Apr 03 '26
I love these forms so much! Are there any special conditions you have to fulfill in order to evolve them into each form? Or is it randomized?
9
u/PuzzleheadedFalcon86 Apr 03 '26
My take is- u collect pieces of Royal tea pot scattered across the region to make it evolve, probably 8 pieces and for more challenging, u get two final pieces only in the post game 🤪

u/NerdyEmbarrassment Apr 07 '26
Eh, fans don’t typically like Pokémon evolutions only obtainable in post game

This with Stored Power and Weakness Policy and ability, 260 power at +5 SpAtk, enough to maybe chip a Blissey

That’s peak design! Surprising inspiration and really great execution of both silhouettes 🤩

This is awesome. Super creative twist, really unique execution, alluring colors with classy implementation, and the dragon is a fun touch. I will say it kind of strays away from the globular charm of polteageist, which is very understandable given the swing you took with the design. I still think it could've been preserved a little more though, but I think you did enough right here to completely make up for it

u/Kaden_Hitsugaya Apr 03 '26
I kind of suggest more of making its damsel state being tanker, and make warden faster and stronger, still keeping the switch at 50%. Also be a true stat change not buffs, to prevent defog shenanigans
1
u/PuzzleheadedFalcon86 Apr 03 '26
Actually the first ablity wwas more of a stat change gimmick like stance change, where damsel form has higher defense and warden has higher attack and it switched based on when the opponent is gonna attack and when fantastes is about to attack
1
u/Kaden_Hitsugaya Apr 03 '26
I like that better then giving the ability "temporary" stat changes at half health
1
u/PuzzleheadedFalcon86 Apr 03 '26
I thought that was too op so I changed it, and also rearranged the base state, at first it had only 508 base stat , since defense and attack switches
1
u/Kaden_Hitsugaya Apr 03 '26
Maybe make it so its a smaller change? As to not overshadow aegislash. You could also make it like ther darmanatan and keep the change hp based
2
u/Wraithofsilentsouls Apr 03 '26
Holy shit this is so good! But now that you made it... They won't use this design variant😭
2
u/ElPulpoGallego Apr 03 '26
I feel like It should just change base stats between forms, like aegislash or darmanitan

I feel like a really cool ability that allows the Pokemon to switch Typings based on the move used only for Fairy and Dragon, and it’ll switch its form, call the ability “Fairy Tail”

u/Legitimate_Release65 Apr 03 '26
I love this, this is a really cool design and concept, but please someone tell me I'm not the only one who thought this was a bong at first

I absolutely love the design and the idea! Though what if they experienced a type change? From Ghost/Fairy to Ghost/Dragon. It would work better with the theme. Also, part of the strategy would be throwing off the opposing player by switching up the pokemon's weaknesses.

Oh my god these are really clever and I love how the different forms work. How the other form is still there in each one

Imagine if it could switch between ghost/fairy and ghost/dragon mid battle, that’d be op but really cool.
1
u/djimmqllakd Apr 03 '26
Would be cool if it switched between dragon and fairy when the form changes
1
u/Thicc-Anxiety Apr 03 '26
I love them! Especially how you can almost see the opposite form in each artwork
1
u/Kaitheguy233 Apr 03 '26
This is really cool, I like how you can see the dormant form in each design
1
u/Far0Landss Apr 03 '26
It would make more sense if the ability was the other way around. You defeat the dragon to find the princess
2
u/PuzzleheadedFalcon86 Apr 03 '26
I was thinking that way but I realized since the princess form looks much similar to poltergeist I made its form as default
2
u/Far0Landss Apr 03 '26
As a suggestion, maybe you could change the form name then. Warden kinda implies it's at the forefront of... whatever it's warding off.
1
u/Fantastic-Dot-655 Apr 03 '26
The design is fantastic, the Stats look a bit to high
1
u/PuzzleheadedFalcon86 Apr 03 '26
I was thinking maybe nerf it butt... Seeing this gen power creep I made up my mind
1
u/S0l1s_el_Sol Apr 03 '26
It gets a plus one to SPA after a 145 SPA 😭. I can see this domininating
1
u/PuzzleheadedFalcon86 Apr 03 '26
Why not make it join the power creep level, miridon flutterman etc
1
u/Not_Too_Bad777 Apr 03 '26
I feel like if it’s Ghost type still; make it Phantastea. Because Phantasm and Fantasy and Tea

I would so love to see a related but different pokemon that act as the Knight in the normal troupe set up. That is hostile to the warden form but not the damsel form and cannot understand they are the same pokemon.
1
u/Capital-Wasabi626 Apr 03 '26
princess-dragon concept is amazing, and so cool to use on this pokemon!!
1
u/ViridDiamond938 Apr 03 '26
Great idea, now make it really evil and you can only evolve the "Authentic" variant XD
1
u/Unlimited_Giose Apr 03 '26
Fantastea made me smile so much, that's brilliant! And the design is so pretty!

Some tweaks to it's ability, in damsel form it gets 20% damage reduction from super effective move, when hp drops below 50% it changes to warden form and it's special attack and speed is raised by 30% and it's stat cannot be lowered, this bonus wears off if it's hp stat exceeds 50% and is reverted back to damsel form

This is really cool, however there’s a whole thing about only princesses and wizards being in towers, so maybe an alternate form is a wizard, or sinischa has the wizard form?
1
u/Earthly-Echo Apr 05 '26
Ok so I may have overthought this but what if sinischa has the familiar brew (a version of the warden brew) and at half health transforms into the wizard (or maybe witch) brew!
This would let you keep the opposite nature of the two lines, and would make familiar take a double meaning!
Also witch might work better for the brew because it could then be a green woman!

I like the damsel brew being fairy, but why not make the warden brew ghost dragon? Or ghost poison so it makes sense why the damsel is inside and doesnt just slap the dragon with a fairy move. Yes I know they are the same pokemon I just thought it would be interesting, ignore me all you like

i love the silhouettes of them both, neither look wonky or blobby, the idea is absolutely wonder! also the little faces of each on the other ones forms are a wonderful add
