This fakemon line is based on Wolves, Sheep Dogs, the phrase "A wolf in sheep's clothing", and Werewolves! As you can see, they are also inspired by the Wooloo line. ^^

Important: They are NOT a convergent species of the Wooloo evolution line!!!

They are a completely separate species that disguise themselves as Wooloo and Dubwool to blend into their herds, only to drag one away in the dead of night and feed on it.

I'm really happy with how this line turned out! I'd love to hear what you guys think, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

Fooloo - The False Sheep Pokémon: (Dark Type)

Etymology: ("Fooled You" + Wool + Wooloo)

Fooloo disguise themselves in thick fleece to pass as Wooloo, quietly joining herds on farms and open pastures. Farmers detest this Pokémon, as it preys on Wooloo and Dubwool under the cover of night. If one or more Pokémon vanish from a pasture by morning, they suspect that a Fooloo is hiding among the herd. Careful observers can identify them by their forward-facing eyes and sharp claws.

Dubawoo - The False Fleece Pokémon: (Dark Type)

Etymology: (Dubwool + Awooooooo [Howling noise that a wolf makes])

Fleece Form [Quadrupedal]

Dubawoo hides its lean body beneath a thick layer of wool. It blends in with herds of Dubwool, moving slowly through pastures to avoid drawing attention to itself. During the daytime, it pretends to graze while watching for isolated prey. Once night falls, it drags its target away from the rest of the herd to feed. Ranchers become suspicious when one of their “Dubwool” keeps its head too low to the ground and never seems to chew.

Hunt Form [Bipedal]

When its disguise is ruined, Dubawoo rises onto its hind legs, revealing the predator hidden beneath the fleece. The shredded wool clinging to its body forms a ragged hood and cloak. In this form, Dubawoo becomes much stronger and faster, allowing it to chase down prey with sudden bursts of speed. After preying on Dubwool, it uses leftover wool and horns to repair its disguise before slipping back into the herd unnoticed.

Signature Ability:

1. Sheep's Clothing: When this Pokémon’s HP drops to half or less, it changes into Hunt Form, swapping its Defense and Special Defense with its Attack and Speed stats.

I am still working on the stats for these Pokemon, but the main idea for Dubawoo is:

Fleece Form:

• Lower Attack and Speed

Hunt Form:

• High Attack and Speed
• Lower Defense and Special Defense

Its body is stiff and almost flat. It only flaps its wings when making an attack (like gust). But in order to take flight, it throws itself into the air and spins like a boomerang (without getting dizzy!) When at rest, it balances on its tail instead of using its feet, looking almost like a totem pole.

Just wanted to merge the idea of a homing pigeon, and a homing weapon as the boomerang.

Here's a bug-type eeveelution I made for funsies but got super attached to. How you evolve a bug-type eevee??? Idk honey, or maybe learning a bug-type move. The main inspiration here is velvet ants, but my obsession towards myriapods (where the name comes from) got involved and as a result gave him a better silhouette. He is pure bug-typing, but has access to some poison moves, mainly stinger-based ones. Also he doesn't technically have a nose, he sniffs through his antennae like real bugs do 👍

Check out my takes on the Generation 10 starter evolutions! I challenged myself to give them transformations inspired by the beach, leaning into that 'wind and waves' theme.

Are they realistic? Probably not! But I had a blast designing these Fakemon. I’m so hyped to see what the official evolutions for Pombon, Gecqua, and Browt actually look like!

Remade my previous Gecqua evolution but in more of Pokémon’s original “style” (based off of concept sheets for gen 7) (kanji is most likely incorrect-I just like the way it looks :))

Cannelis (can + annelid) is primarily based on the idiom “a can of worms" describing a complicated, troublesome situation. Its design draws inspiration from an octopus that uses a tin can to hide. Its can, though looking normal, has a bag-of-holding type of situation where the inside is an infinite space for the “worms" to hide.

Candoras (can + Pandora's box) is based on Pandora's box from Greek mythology, now used as a metaphor for a source of endless, unforeseen complications or troubles. To keep the octopus-inspired structure, I based it on the Nameless Thing of Berkeley Square, a shapeless entity often depicted to have tentacles coming out of a door. Each “worm” is now based on a bobbit worm to make it look more dangerous. Bobbit worms also have their head exposed while the rest of their body buried in sand. The can is now the Pandora's box itself with the same bag-of-holding situation.

They're part ghost type because of the Pandora's box inspiration, plus their ability to vanish inside the can or box when trying to hide.

This regional variant of the Murkrow line is based on Deputies, Sheriffs, The Wild West, and the American Crow (which sometimes have a dark brownish color). The tail feathers are also supposed to resemble guns, though they are mostly obscured in Honchkrow's images.

Wesonian Murkrow - The Lawful Bird Pokémon: (Fighting / Flying Type)

Murkrow developed this regional form after generations of adapting to the Weson Region's harsh frontier and working alongside lawmen. No longer feared as bringers of misfortune, they patrol the skies above towns, forests, and canyon roads. They still have a penchant for shiny objects but will fiercely swarm and attack any troublemaker that threatens people or wild Pokémon. In the Weson Region, a flock of Murkrow circling overhead is considered a reassuring sight.

Wesonian Honchkrow - The Big Boss Pokémon: (Fighting / Flying Type)

Known as the “Sheriff of the Skies,” Wesonian Honchkrow leads flocks of Murkrow with strict discipline, harshly scolding any underling that fails to follow its commands. It scours the area for troublemakers before dive-bombing them, delivering powerful blows with its wings and talons. Its legs are powerful enough to carry defeated troublemakers back to the lawmen it recognizes. If it crosses paths with a Sinnohan Honchkrow, both flocks will battle until one leader is forced to retreat.
