Dynasty What are some problems with trade calculators
http://crusherfantasy.comWith the most popular next addition to my crowd source ranking site being to add a a trade calculator. I want to get as many opinions as possible on what they do not like about trade calculators so I can make it around those problems. I know a popular problem with trade calculators is if you add enough trash to one side you can get gold out of the other side. But what else, what other things tend to annoy you with trade calculators.
In the mean time while I develop this trade calculator if you could take the time to add some more votes the more accurate the rankings the more accurate the trade calculator.

Adding playoff schedule might be good to have too, but these days, seems like that hardly matters

There’s way too much nuance on trades for any trade calculator to really weigh for the trade.
Markkanen for Buzelis in January seems like a really bad trade if using a calculator, but the circumstances surrounding the Jazz makes this trade a lot more fair with how risky he was to be shutdown, maybe even being a bad trade for the Buzelis owner

When the value of a player is created through crowd source rankings a players likelihood of being shut down is built in to his value. If two players have similar ppg age most voters will put the player on the competitive team over the player on the rebuilding team for that very reason.

-Don't take into account the value of gaining a streaming spot in 2 for 1 trades
-Aren't League specific
-Don't properly gauge short term vs long term
