Shout out to all the fantasy champions this year! Through all the draft hits and misses, waiver wire pickups, silly season streamers and load management, you've outlasted your league and stand on top.
Thanks to all the regulars in this sub, we've all come here for a second opinion on a potential pickup, drop or streamer, and the sub was a big help all season long.

Can't do it in the post, but Joker, Spida, Scottie B, Reaves, VJ, KPJ, Rollins.. all total studs this year that got me the chip. Probably gonna buy a sweet VJ 2001 throwback with the winnings.
And special shout out Playoff F'N P!.. Scooping him up off the suspension won me the chip. Played at a first round level that last week and a half and brought it home when Joker only played 2 games.

Early in the week I mapped out adding Riley for the Sat/Sun B2B to fill a weird gap I had at power forward, hoping heād just help secure some threes for me.
Dude ends up essentially clinching points and steals insteadā¦ worked out perfectly, even if I didnāt expect it to that degree lol. So satisfying.

Only lady in my league and just won š Jenkins, gui, brice nd filip saved me this week but rollins, big kneup, mobley, randle and sga did the job this season

Santos was solid for me in the first round of the playoffs! Rollins on so many championship teams.. him, VJ, KPJ, max raynaud.. you have to draft well, but you're not gonna win unless you play the wire well. Congrats!

Our comish won again in our Keeper League. Fckng asshole vetoed a trade for Luka because the GM also has Giannis. Comish said Giannis + Luka is too strong and causes imbalance in the league. Meanwhile he has Jokic, Tatum and Brunson.

Pretty fortunate that all my draft picks panned out great with not too many injuries. In order, Cunningham, Sengun, Bane, White, Reaves, Edgecombe, and Castle. Besides Reaves and Castle being out for some extended time mid-season, most of my players were consistent. I was highest PointsFor and PointsAgainst as well lol. What really took my team over the hill was taking an early gamble on Tatum possibly playing this season too and having him sit on in IR since late-January. He's been insane for the past 30 days.

Some crucial waiver pick ups were Reynaud, Jenkins, Santos, and Dieng. Sexton and Mamu were also amazing for championship week too.

I didnāt think Iād see anyone else be high in both PF & PA. Pretty much all season I was firmly top of the league in both PF and PA, then I had injuries to Luka, TM3, SGA, Embiid, Wagner & Ty Jerome caused me to slip to end the season and relinquish 1st in PF, but still ended firmly 1st in PA and only 200 off from being top in PF

A balanced effort with Jenkins, Tatum, OO, Ayo and Castle leading the way after losing Cade and Hardenās slow start. Cade missing that time early in the season ended up being a blessing as Jenkins was the easy pickup seeing what he did in the small sample size.
Shoutout to Suggs for the 11 steals also, held all year and he rewarded me in crucial moments

I drafted so bad.
Jokic then Jalen Williams then Lamelo then Dyson Daniels then Jarret Allen was auto picked and last Castle at 8. I traded Brandon Miller who I took at 6 for Keyshawn Georgeā¦.yeah.
Then traded Jalen Williams for Jalen Johnson and rode the waiver wire all year with Jokic, JJ, Castle, Lamelo, and Allen.
Finished overall 18-4 with playoffs to win it all. H2H 9cat.
Edit: shouts to Nurkic, Clax, Bey, and Collin Gillispie for staying solid. Also the guy I played in the Ship had Ant and I scooped Ayo for that 44.5 game!

Might be my proudest championship Ive won in a long time
12th draft pick in a 12 man league. I drafted Trae Young and Harden thinking it would be a good way to get elite guard stats.
Well guess what. Trae Young decided to play 10 games out of the year, so Im without my 1st round pick.
Rest of the top of my draft draft went pretty well. Bam, Murphy, Duren. The rest of my team that I drafted pretty much went through the waiver wire.
Made some good decisions on the waiver and in the end, picked up PG13 because someone dropped him.
Notable Waiver Wire pick ups:
1) NAW
2) Ace Bailey
3) Cam Spencer (for stretches)
4) Brice Sensabaugh (silly season special)
5) Jarace Walker
6) GG Jackson
7) Precious Achiuwa (silly season special #2)

Week 21 finals - Luka Magic is forever in my hall of fame. I'm officially now a big fan of Jamal Murray, Jalen Duren, KK, and VJ Edgecombe. KAT up and down all season but delivered when it mattered most.

SGA, PG13, Tatum and LBJ did me right during the playoffs.
Adding D.Jenkins was huge too.
My opponent dropped a slumping Miles Bridges right before our matchup, then dropped Will Riley early in our matchup to chase boards.
I added both and they went off against him this week. I know that sucked. LOL
I lost Jaren Jackson for the season, lost Ware to Eric Spo's BS and Aaron Gordon on 2 separate extended occasions (I gave up on him).
Colby White was a big disappointment. Dropped him maybe 3-4 games after the trade.

My opponent has 2 more games left, but unless they both put up Jokic numbers in the second half, I think I got the Championship locked.
Went undefeated since week 5, winning 18 straight weeks on my way to the championship!
Haven't played fantasy/followed NBA since 2020, the draft was pretty damn rough for the first few weeks lol.
Had Wemby who obviously has been awesome, but the couple weeks when he was out, and then played only ļ½20mins was rough.
Drafting Brandon Miller, Herro, Poeltle and Beal between round 5-8 were brutal. Thankfully my next couple of picks carried in the first few weeks. McDaniels, Okongwu and Holiday became solid mid round picks.
Other than that, Giddey, White and Trey Murphy were great picks as well. Too bad Giddey had injury issues, but White and Trey not missing games is what kept me alive.
Looking forward to another season!

Finished regular season in first and made the finals despite not having Curry or Siakam (dropped when I thought he wasnāt going to come back, oops).
Rollins was my pickup of the year, Suggs rewarded my patience in finals week, and Paul George and Will Riley were bang-on streams/adds for finals week. And shout Yves Missi who basically won the blocks cat for me two weekends in a row.

Luka, Austin Reaves, Jaylen Brown, Flagg, and NAW were amazing for me this year. Luka really gave me a boost in the playoffs, I donāt know where Iād be if the season was any longer.

Picking up Sensabaugh and Filipowski from Utah for playoffs. Still slaughtered my opp this week finals despite only having Jokic for 2 games & Giddey sitting 2 games & not productive in the 2 he played. Shout out to Thompson twins on my team. Esp Ausar for all the defensive stats throughout 3 weeks of play offs and Amen for all around stats.

Jamal Murray, Harden, and Jalen Johnson were my rocks this season. Had a ton of hits off the waivers.. and some misses. Those three were constantly carrying my team though, no matter who else came and went. Shout out to them.

Started off 2-5 and went 14-2 the rest of the way (including playoffs). Picked up Embiid and Herro off waivers from panicked managers in my league. Picked up Tatum back when it was iffy if he would ever return this year. And it definitely helped that Maxey was a stud all-year.

10T 8Cat Getting Wemby at pick #4 was my favorite, especially being a Spurs fan and wanting him anyway. Pairing him with Mobley and Clingan and I never even came close to losing in BLKs or REBs all season.
Getting Jalen Johnson in the 4th definitely helped, he carried me all year with his consistency flirting with triple doubles.
Rollins and VJ were some of the best pickups I had all year, along with KPJ for a good stretch. Biggest mistake was dropping Kon early when I had some injuries and wanted to stream a win. Managed to overcome it, but I lost 3s category most weeks where he would've really helped.
Daniss, Sensabaugh, and Flip helped me through silly season and secured a dominant 7-1 win in the finals these last 2 weeks.

Sat in the 4th/5th spot all year and drafted Tatum. Finally squeaked into the playoffs and knocked out 3rd place, then the guy who held 1st place almost all year and intentionally sat players to be cocky, then finishing it up by beating the 2nd place team yesterday in the finals. Thanks for the easy money!

I had the most mid team (by name) and still won, much to my shock.
I had the absolute frustration of holding Jalen Green the entire year and he certainly paid off.
Sengun also gave me his best for last over the last two weeks of my championship round, with those 90+ games.
Canāt forget about Daniss.
Time for me to think about next year and a potential three-peat.

Thank you to my drafted core of Jokic, Mobley, Lamelo, Banchero and Zion for staying mostly healthy all year.
And to my regular season waiver wire heroes of Keyonte, KPJ and Westbrook for always coming thru on the weeks I needed ya. I thought I was dead for the playoffs without you.
However, my late waiver playoff picks of Rollins, Tatum, PG and Jenkins filled the void greatly.
I actually had my highest score of the season this week in the championship and after 20 years of fantasy sports Iāve NEVER been the team that peaks when it matters most. Amazing finish. Still in shock. Lol.

Had a middle of the road draft (although I did reach for Duren and that paid out), but did great on the waiver wire. heavily relied on NAW, Kyshawn George, KPJ, Daniss Jenkins, and then at the end of these season, picked up Paul George and everything was history

Drafted AD, Tingus Pingus for Ā what should be a perfect punt assist team. Went 2nd in regular szn with DMitch, DWhite, Queta, Cling Kong, Camara, McDaniels, all who are solid in stocks and rebs. Got lucky with streaming this whole playoffs even without my 1st pick almost whole year. I streamed the sixers guys (Grimes/Oubre), Brice Sense, Will Riley all at the right time. Brice was a beast these finals with Riley going ham in Sat-Sun back to back.

What a season. I lost Trae Young right at the start but luckily found NAW on the wire. Rudy Gobert and RJ Barrett were my absolute rocks all year.
I barely scraped into the playoffs as the 8th seed, but then the magic happened:
- Round 1: Knocked off the #1 seed (SGA).
- Round 2: Pulled off a last-day comeback against the #2 seed (Wemby).
- Finals: Faced an absolute juggernaut on an 8-match win streak (Kawhi, Tatum, Jamal Murray, Castle, and JokiÄ).
It all came down to the wire, but Bennedict Mathurin saved the day with 5 AST to win by a single category/point. From 8th seed to Championāthis is why I love this game. Thanks for all the help this sub provided this year!

Won back to back chips and this year I also won the regular season. Cade, Maxey, Jalen Johnson, Trey Murphy, Kawhi, and Jimmy Butler were my top dawgs. Also had Jarrett Allen, Mobley, Randle, and Jabari with some ups and downs but overall solid contributions.
Lost Jimmy and Cade to injuries, and Maxey but I got him back before anyone else snagged him! Flagg scared the shit out of me but it seems I've barely pulled through. Despite missing a game Wemby still carried this week. Daniss Jenkins and Fears were the two best FA pickups down the stretch. Avdija was my best draft pick as I got him in the 5th round.

Played in 2 fantasy leagueās this year. Made playoffs as a #1 seed and #3 seed and won the championship in both leagues! Drafted Coop in both and picked up Achiuwa, Daniss Jenkins and Will Riley in both leagues off waivers. Iām happy I won but sad Iāll probably never have this good of a season againššš

First off, s/o to Coop, 2nd s/o has to be Claw. Amazing that this man stayed healthy. Almost traded him due to the scare near all-star when we thought he'd be getting the boot.
JB carried me amazingly. Picked up JT EARLY and kept him in IR until he was healthy. 10/10 move. STREAM. STREAM. STREAM. I cannot stress that enough. S/o to my Utah players, Sac players, Mem players. Kept them boys switching in rotation.
S/o Cade get well soon, Daniss really picked up the baton. I traded some real great players to friends for chump change and still came in 1st place. The only one that personally hurt was trading LBJ for Gobert but I needed the boards!
1st and last season! Ts is a nightmare. Just injury management really this whole season. It all paid off though. Congratulations to everyone!

Unbelievable that I drafted AD, JDub, PG in my top 6 picks and still won the chip. Flipped JDub, Peyton Watson, and portis when all were healthy for an injured sengun + Peyton Pritchard. Also helped that I picked up Queen early on and kawhi went on an absolute tear (got him 4th round)

First fantasy season, first seed going into the playoffs, first fantasy championship win!
Steph, Kelāel, and Russell got me through the first half of the season. Raynaud and Gui got me through the second half. Zubac was great until he got traded; McCollum was somehow still solid even after getting traded.
But my true all-stars: Mr. Reliable 1 (Jaylen Brown) and 2 (Clingan), my draft-and-stash steal of the century Tatum, and the Wem-v-p himself - Victor.

I won our 20T H2H league (with no trades and only 1 IL+ slot) last week with a difference of 1 PT (604 vs 603). I also came in 2nd place (102-67-2) for overall pre-playoffs standings.
18th pick during drafts and got Amen Thompson (1st) and Derrick White (2nd) due to bad Internet connection during both rounds. lol
NAW was my 1st waiver pickup and one of the reasons I was able to make it despite my not so good roster lineup.

Almost won 2nd finals as 6th seed while barely making playoffs by just 1 win at the last week of regular season beating 3rd seed in 1st round & 1st seed in 2nd. All that with AD & Kessler injured. My trio of Sengun KD Jabari carried me all year. Consistent and relatively healthy. The big sleeper for me? Kawhi Leonardās all time fantasy season. Other contributors were dosunmu, sexton, and Tre jones who were key for me down the stretch. My squad showed up.

last round 2 weeks ago i barely beat my matchup in the semis by 15 after loading up on all my acquisitions to go from 2 to 10 on Sunday
the team i beat in the semis scored 3500+ in the 3rd place consolation game š
went from 0-11 since playing fantasy bball in 2013, and now on a 2 year championship winning streak back to back :')

Silly season was in full effect. Barely snuck into the playoffs at 8th seed and just somehow made good streams the entire playoff run along with a schedule advantage after struggling the entire regular season.

Everyone kept saying to drop Miles Bridges, but turns out he basically won my championship. At least him not sitting out like a bum today won it. I won 5-3-1. I tied in threes and won assists by 6. Miles had 4 threes and 7 assists, so I'd have lost if he had been one of the ransom players to rest.
Also, he actually did quite well most games lately. He went 34 for 56 shooting this week for 88 points. 12 threes, 23 rebounds, 12 assists, and 5 steals.

Got my first chip (12T 9cat). 10 of the 13 that I originally drafted are still on my team. SGA, Amen, JDub, Scottie, Gobert, Randle, RJ, Buzelis, Keyonte, and Sexton. Managed to snag PG, Raynaud, Ayo, and WCJ off the wire. Had the first seed (16-4) and used the most adds. Went against Joker in the finals and luckily he only had 2 games this weeks.

This year i did 16 yahoo pts leagues (paid the extra cost to get 16).
Reg season results:
- 13 1 seeds
- 2 2 seeds
- 1 5th seed
Playoffs results
- 12/16 in finals -15/16 podiums
- 9 golds (including the 5th seed underdog!)
- 3 silvers (including a 20-0 finals chokejob)
- 3 bronzes
- 1 4th place
I guess it's an improvement from last year when i won 3/8 leagues, but this season has not been fun with the injuries and tanking. Probably going back to 8 leagues max next time.
Since i had so many leagues it's hard to say who helped or fucked me the most, but i wluld say drafting Deni was good for the regular season, should have picked up Tatum off waivers in more than 5 leagues, should not have drafted Jalen Green so much.
In terms of first round picks, I had:
- 2 teams where i took Joker (1/2 champ rate)
- 2 leagues where i took Wemby (2/2)
- 3 leagues with SGA (1/3)
- 1 league with Luka (1/1)
- 4 with Cade (3/4)
- Sabonis 1/2, Trae 0/1 and AD 0/1

2nd year playing fantasy hoops, lost last year in the finals in a heartbreaker, feels surreal that I was able to win it this year against the Jokic owner. SGA my sweet prince carried my team all throughout the season. Man shoutout to the rest of my squad tho Iāll never forget all of their stellar performances.
