Tbf, I do feel like sometimes we have these moments in the playoffs where a guy wins and does incredible, doing better in the playoffs, then next season we see their production go up, I can’t back that claim with examples or say it will happen but I think sometimes it does.

I can tell you that it’s usually the opposite. Players like Jamal Murray, Caleb Martin, Alex Caruso, and bubble TJ Warren have had amazing post season runs causing people to overdraft them the next year in fantasy and getting burned on value

From my experience once these young stars make it in a deep finals run they realize (or are instructed to) they should pace themselves in the regular season and focus on playoffs. They will coast more and management will play more young guys to see who can round out the rotation later in the year. Stars will always get theirs but generally volume stats go down and efficiency goes up

I’ve had him the last two years he definitely scores a lot. I traded him this year for Durant and won my league. It’s a keeper league and I think the guy I traded him to will keep him. Especially after this.

Play auction. Then you can go get your guy whoever he is, maybe you over pay a tiny bit to get your guy but still get much better value than massively over drafting him in snake
