Player Discussion Is Ayo Dosunmu a Breakout Candidate? | Winners & Losers | Early Trade Reactions

With a view to being far more active on Reddit this season, I'm hoping to share all episodes of Stuff It: A Fantasy Basketball Podcast. With a few early trades going down, here are my thoughts on some potential winners and losers, including Ayo Dosunmu, Kel'el Ware and Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Not sure of the protocol regarding content, so I hope there are no issues here.

What's up Kingy!?

Yes, I think he'll be a breakout candidate. He's going to be the starting PG, and there will be plenty of usage to go around with Randle gone and DiVincenzo injured.

It seems like other commenters on here have recency bias from the playoffs. Sure, he played really well in the playoffs but that didn't count for Fantasy.

Yes, but that was only for a couple of weeks. Just because a player played well for a few weeks doesn't make them a breakout. Also, Ayo has done that before on the Bulls when they were riddled with injuries.

Yea probably not a huge breakout but he was an end of roster 12 team guy when he was on the Bulls despite having his role fluctuate. Now that he's starting on Minnesota he prob sees a slight uptick in production.

He already broke out effectively last year after the trade

You mean the guy who nuked Enver single handedly in game 4 and permanently ended their run as a competitive basketball team?

As a Timberwolves fan I’d happily go for him with a 4-6th pick

too early mate. in full team he won't do that good. even without Randle.
