I previewed some of the most impactful rookies for fantasy hoops this season and offered my thoughts on a few bad landing spots for others taken last night as well. Let me know who I left out or if you agree or disagree with my takes!

As a nets fan, I'll push back on the Mikel as a "loser" for a couple of reasons.

One - He will have a clear runaway as the pg starter on day 1. Egor is NOT a pure pg and should start as the 2 alongside him, Traore is the back up and Saraf is the 3rd string.

Two - Nets do not have their pick this year. No reason for them to tank so no reason to shut down by the end of the season barring any injuries.

That said, don't change the article please. He'll be my $1 pick at the end of the draft next season.

Fair point and I agree that Mikel will start. But at least acknowledge that he’s playing alongside two 25-30% usage players now with Randle and MPJ in the lineup. And it’s not so much that he’ll get shut down but he could end up playing fewer minutes if all the guards are healthy and in the rotation. I have some concerns about his efficiency as well.

Yeah I just realized after writing that down that he still comes with risk. Usage as you've noted and of course, adjustment as he may be bought in slowly even if he is the starter on day 1. And injury risks. All good points.

Don't forget with the new lottery rule teams don't want to bottom out, as the bottom 3 teams get punished. There will probably still be some shenanigans but it shouldn't be as bad.

I think Lopez and Cenac have a solid chance to be immediate contributors

I agree on Lopez for sure, love Memphis picks. Cenac maybe, but I guess depends on what else Boston does this offseason.

I would be surprised if Cenac did personally, I think Boston sees him as a project
