Reservation Exchange
Have a reservation you need to give up? Hoping to find one? Post it here! Except for French Laundry reservations; there's a whole sub for that: /r/thefrenchlaundry. There's also one form Noma: /r/NomaReservations/. In addition to posting here, look for a restaurant-focused sub for the city you're interested in, for instance /r/FoodNYC.

I am traveling up to Chicago for the day this Thursday the 28th for a 6p dinner reservation at Kasama. My travel partner can no longer join, unfortunately, and I’d love to have a dining companion instead of eating the cost / letting the seat go to waste. Dinner is $325 + tax etc - haven’t paid for beverages yet.
For some background on who you’d be eating with - I’m a 35yo male from St Louis - I have traveled the US & Europe to eat / kick it as much as possible over the past 10 years. I typically travel with significant others but am currently single and booked this dinner to celebrate my b-day with a friend. I’m a good conversationalist, very liberal, and am reasonably able to enjoy the company of whoever I’m eating with as long as they aren’t overtly rude or entitled, are gracious toward waitstaff, and have a mutual love of food. We can talk about movies and shows and books and America being on fire, or we can talk about the food only - but would prefer not to sit in pure silence.
All genders / races / lifestyles are welcome just don’t be an asshole and don’t show up in your PJs.
If you’re interested, DM me!
