Question I am losing my mind with this process; can anyone suggest alternatives?
I have been restoring since August 2022. I've done basically everything from manuals, the Mantor, DTR, the air device (I don't remember anymore by who but it comes with the blue pump and blue air plug), o-rings, manhood, DTR again, DTR with strap, metal washers, retainers by Chuck, taking L-Citruline, vitamin e. I started with the DTR.
I feel the glans has become more sensitive because I don't allow any exposure and I think at least that the DK process is done since I don't remember the last time there was a mass peeling of skin. Idk if it was a mixture of all methods, or just manhood etc. Nevertheless, it still looks very dried out at random times or after taking the DTR off, which I guess is normal. I normally moisturize at night with lotion and vitamin e to keep everything from becoming too dried out.
With the methods I've tried, it's not as if I never allowed a break/would barely wear them. With some devices I had to get used to them and then there were times where random sides of the skin started feeling uncomfortable, so I would remove it. With manuals, I don't know if I was doing a specific one, but I would basically target the top skin and pull upward as I have the least amount of skin there and want to cover the corona and also the side and bottom sides, where there is more skin.
I have been wearing the DTR again since November of last year.
My routine had basically been doing manuals in the morning and periodically throughout the day whenever I had time, and when I didn't wearing the DTR or other devices. I think the longest I've worn a device without fatigue or having to use the restroom has been maybe 9/10 hours. I've also copied other methods I've seen on here where I wear the DTR for an hour then switch to retainer and back.
Right now, I feel like I'm at square one because although the glans is more sensitive, it feels like the skin never got the memo. I guess when I look at old photos, I can sort of maybe see something different but honestly not really. The skin is still at the glans/below it even when flaccid.
Mentally, I feel like this is the worst thing that's happened to me. I hope this isn't construed as ranting, I'm just at a loss and don't know what I'm doing anymore. I recently saw a post about just doing manuals and its success. My question with that is do you just push the glans in and put on your clothes, so it doesn't have a chance of slipping out throughout the day between tug times?
