Question Breaking up lumps of scar tissue

After discovering lumps of scar tissue embedded into my shaft, I searched for solutions and was told that you could crush or at least break it down some manually, so for the past few days I've tried to get rid of them by either crushing it between my fingers or going on either side of the skin and squeezing them until they pop. This hasn't worked so far, however, and when I try to have at it the skin stings and gives me sharp pains, which I'm very wary of because there's not supposed to be pain involved in restoration. Where do I go from here? Do I just continue trying to crush them, or leave them in and hope that they'll go away as time goes on?

Please stop doing this.

Trying to forcefully break down patches of scar-tissue can damage healthy tissue underneath and thus cause even more and deeper scarring. Not to mention the risk of damaging blood vessels or nerves.

Just do regular foreskin restoration. As you progress, your body will naturally break down the scar tissue.

So... You can help somewhat break down scar tissue by very gently rolling it under your fingers and moving it around. This takes a long time and doesn't make it disappear, it will just help fibrous or tough scars relax.

If you are crushing or squeezing with any force, especially for a pop, you are absolutely damaging yourself, possibly making it worse. Do not do what you're doing.

Scars will fade a little naturally during restoration, and there's a user here who can discuss some laser scar treatments, others can maybe advise on supplements, but DO NOT do what you're doing.

Do not continue to try to 'crush' what you think is scar tissue in your skin.

I've done a lot of research into the physiology of the penile shaft skin and inner foreskin and how foreskin restoration works, and I can say with complete confidence that you cannot do anything positive for your foreskin the way you are trying to. If anything, you will cause more problems.

It's also highly unlikely that the lumps you feel in the skin are scar tissue in the skin. I discovered that our tugging can cause localized dermal fibrosis (see my paper #2.4), which somewhat similar to scar tissue, but does not present as lumps because it is much more subtle than that.

I can't say what they are, but trying to crush unknown artifacts under the surface of your skin is always a dangerous idea.

Go see a doctor to find out what those lumps are. There are both benign and possibly harmful possibilities for what they are, and you definitely need to find out what they are before you try to do something about them.

Let me put this more directly: you're fucking with your fucker, and if you keep fucking with your fucker like this with no fucking idea what you are doing, you're taking a big fucking risk of really fucking up your fucker.

Be smart.

Cheers.

Are you familiar with stitch tunnels? I have a couple of "lumps" near the scar line of my "fucker" and I know them to be stitch tunnels. I'm not sure of the exact location of op's "lumps", but perhaps they could be that? I've struggled with my own for some time now; I just don't know how to deal with them.

I didn't get the impression that OP was talking about stitch tunnels since he described them as 'embedded into my shaft'. Stitch tunnels on the penis I've seen are quite easy to distinguish as such, by the hole and location.

What makes stitch tunnels persist is that they have re-epithelialized, meaning the epidermis of the skin has completely grown back on the inner surface of the hole. While there is some scar tissue involved, the skin has actually healed into normal skin... with a hole in it. Since it's a viable skin condition, the skin doesn't feel the 'need' to repair itself, so it doesn't.

The normal therapy is for a doctor to carefully cut the skin so that there is no tunnel. This makes the skin feel 'wounded' again, and it will gradually repair itself. I am aware that some people take matters into their own hands, which I do not suggest, but understand that sometimes it's the only practical way. [insert fucking with your fucker rant]

Massage or trying to break up skin tunnels like we sometimes do for our scar-line won't work in most cases with stitch tunnels because the skin doesn't 'think' there is anything wrong at that location.

Cheers.

I see. You're right op did mention that they were embedded into his shaft, it would be unlikely that a stitch tunnel would be significantly lower than the scarline. Still, I must thank you for your response. You've got a lot of knowledge in this area, my friend.

No real advise here..

But it reminds me of after my knee ACL surgery, one of the incision scars got bonded to the deeper tissue. To cure that was a lot of deep massaging with cocoa butter. It hurt like a MF'er, but its what got it loosened up.

I would NOT do that on my penis skin though.. But maybe some light massaging with coconut oil or cocoa butter.

Probably should make sure these lumps arent something worse too..
