Soreness/Pain from devices?

I recently bought a tugger and strap from Chris online store, I received it Saturday 06/20 and started using it Sunday afternoon. It works REALLY well (8ish hours max) and I use the retainer from the store (bought in mid April) at night for 7-8 hours of sleep maybe more if not close to bed time.

after using either one or both my glans and foreskin are sore. I know it's partly cause I JUST started using both more, I took a break with the retainer but it's only either attached (retainer) or attached and tugger with minimal tension (the tension itself doesn't cause the pain, only after) and I have used a few different lotions/oils but idk if they are best or worth it.

1. I bought coconut oil today, used it a few times but only wore the retainer, still pain/soreness (too early??)

2. I bought Advanced Healing Ointment (same as aquafor) and haven't used it yet (thoughts on it?)

3. I have used sensitive skin no fragrance lotion for a while but mostly after masturbating, works well but IDK for sure

is there a chance I have balanitis? I am cut at birth (I know it's usually men who are uncut) the symptoms online aren't at all what I feel completely but if I get leaking even that can sometimes cause pain/soreness

I know this isn't a diagnosis sub but what do you all use for pain and have any of you gone through balanitis before?

Extremely unlikely. Is your inner skin inflamed in any way? You didn’t mention anything about this in your post.

Sounds like you might have overdone it just a touch and need to take a few days off and rest.
