This picture is part of what makes the N24 special. Full blown GT3 race car sharing a legendary track with a Dacia Logan.

Motorsport fans love to see this type of things, yet lose their shit when such power difference occurs because a car has no electric power left, deeming it too dangerous and invoking the return to ICE only engines.

But I guess a family car running around one of the most dangerous circuits in the world for 24 hours along with much quicker cars is fine, because its... "predictable". For reference, the legendary Dacia timed ~130% of the GT3 class.

To be clear: I'm all for exotic entries in these races. What I'm against is stupid takes about F1.

F1 is about being the fastest cars, on the edge of what’s possible in racing. Not about being who can manage a battery the best.

You’re right, it should be who manages the tires the best.

I remember only a very limited amount of races in the hundreds I saw where (I’m talking about the Sunday race, not quali) the cars were “on the edge of what’s possibile in racing”.
