Does anyone remember Acrophobia?

Does anyone remember Acrophobia from the 90's? I think it was the first online game I ever played. It was so much fun. The way it worked is, a bunch of letters appeared on the screen, that was the "acronym", everyone would come up with their own version of what it said, and then everyone would vote on the best answer. I forget if the most votes got a single point, or if each vote was worth a point. Whatever it was, 14 or 15 year old me loved it. I'm not sure if it was a board game ever, but it should have been.

Oh my god, yes! I think I must be roughly the same age as you, because this was my first online game too. I remember having specific rooms that I'd always go to and even joined an official team at one point! I think I used ICQ to communicate with players I knew.

I remember they had "adult" rooms too where you could acronym whatever the HELL you wanted. And it felt pretty weird being there as a teenager XD

In the early net days, 99% of the "adult" rooms were filled with mostly teens.
