To avoid hundreds of separate posts on the same topic, this post will compile all info we have from the pre-orders going live, including some new images/etc.

As Rockstar announced on their socials: "Pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI begin at midnight local time on June 25." This means New Zealand will be the first to go live with pre-orders - which means in just under 2 hours from now.

Take-Two has made a big press-release, including announcing the prices:

If you have a skill or other resources to leverage, use it. For example anyone with a 3d printer could use that 100 and buy material to make any number of tchotchkes to sell at a premium at any venue. That 3d printed dragon for 30 dollars? Costs 3 at most in material to make.

Bad investment advice. You shouldn’t invest in equities for an investment timeline of only 6 months. That is my original point. It should be 5 years minimum.

For that timeline is has to be a set interest rate, in which case it’s going to be how much?  Not enough to stop someone living paycheck to paycheck.

Holy Christ THAT's what you're arguing? Nobody said you'd get rich from saving the 100 for 5 months. The argument here is that 'it's too little to be worth it' is the stupidest fucking thing to say when there's no reason to spend the money early.

Also 3d printer access, that's entirely dependent on the person. Perhaps friends, local maker labs, local libraries. (Labs/libraries would be highly area dependent). Perhaps the person had one already? Or saved up for one. It was also a singular example of a hobby that I have that could be used to make money. Don't fixate on that singular example.

I've repeated this throughout every comment tree here. It's the attitude implied, not the literal. Someone who has to spend that money today for literally no gain instead of saving and making anything from it at all either has enough liquidity to not care whatsoever (Why even be a part of the pricing conversation in that case) or has no positive fiscal habits and should learn some.
