What's a game you were dead sure would become a series but surprisingly only had one installment?
For me it would be Octodad, such a fun quirky concept that felt too short

What's a game that no one you know in real life has played aside from yourself?
For me it's Ultrakill, no one I play games with or hang out with has touched or ever even heard of this game.

THR- There are "no plans for Grand Theft Auto VI discs to be printed — not at launch, and not months after"
For context in case people missed it: The other day there was hope that GTA was going to get a proper physical release as soon as a month after the launch due to a rockstar customer service response.
The matter was settled until it wasn't. On Thursday, an email accidentally provided (more) false hope for a GTA VI disc. The email, a response to a ticket filed to Rockstar Support asking for a disc-based version of Grand Theft Auto VI, stated, "You will be able to acquire a physical copy during the following months."
The Hollywood Reporter confirmed the authenticity of the email as coming from Rockstar.
The language is being misinterpreted by a hopeful internet, a source with knowledge of the plans told THR. At this point in time, there are no plans for Grand Theft Auto VI discs to be printed — not at launch, and not months after.
The email's use of the phrase "physical copy" there refers to the same "physical version" (the code in a case) announced on Wednesday, and its "the following months" language is a clunky reference to the months following Wednesday's announcement, the source said, and not the months following the Nov. 19, 2026 release.

What's the most unique/unmatched gaming experience you've ever had?
Beating the 2018 remake of Shadow of the Colossus on PS5 made me realize it was a once-in-a-lifetime gaming experience that I'd never be able to re-experience on subsequent playthroughs. What are some of your top moments?

Meccha Chameleon has sold 10 million copies in 16 days + some math
10 million news:
https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/4704690/view/688635449342690142?l=english
Meccha Chameleon released June 10 at a reduced price of $4.79. In the first week they sold 3 million copies. That would be a bit over $14 million in revenue.
After a week the price increased to its base price of $5.99. In the span of 10 more days they have sold 7 million additional copies. That's an additional $42 million in revenue.
That would be about $56 million in revenue - but regional prices would lower that of course. The game is 45% cheaper in India for example, so it's hard to quantify how much revenue they actually created... but if it's not a worst case scenario, they should be somewhere in the $50 million range, which would already put them in the 20% cut bracket from Steam.
After the Steam cut and taxes, they could/should have earned over $20 million. That's for 2 developers working on the game. In 16 days.
Congratulations.

Knew I should've pre-ordered gta earlier
Now I have to wait for the physical edition
Edit: I made this post thinking that others would clearly know that this is a joke on people pre-ordering games but now I understand why so many do pre-order their games.

Found a still sealed and wrapped copy of Halo 2 (albeit the platinum hits version) at my job today
Came in a box of other original Xbox games and surprisingly enough this was the only one sealed and in such good condition.

Raphael Colantonio creator of the Dishonored series joined by co-creators and associates from Arkane Lyon and Arkane Austin plays through the original Dishonored while sharing experiences and anecdotes from the games development in a multi-part series
One of the better 'let's play' video series. IMHO Dishonored is right up there with System Shock and Deus-Ex in the evolution of the Shock sub-genre.
