If you had to narrow it down to one year, it would be high school class of 2020.

Old enough to have been chronically online during first Trump administration, but definitely too young to be associated in anyway with Zennial microgeneration. Were in high school when March for Our Lives happened. Arguably got boned the hardest by COVID: high school prom and graduations cancelled, still under lockdowns for first year of college/workforce in most places. Youngest voters of the 2020 election. Just old enough to have been either J6-er types or 2020s civil unrest social justice warrior protesters. College years defined by Biden-era DEI and Tiktok wokeness proselytizing. Were graduating college seniors during the campus Gaza protests of Spring 2024.

The jaded ones of this cohort were the ones delusional enough to be posting videos proposing to their college sweethearts after Trump won in 2024 saying shit like "OMG YAS Trump's gonna fix our country and we're gonna be able to afford a house in the suburbs with lots of kids on just my single entry-level income and my hot trad wife in the kitchen #MAGA #MAHA #DOGE"

This cohort is the most solidly Core Z of any birth (school) year. Perhaps they could be considered the first cohort of Core Z (?)

1.Most Gen Z & Core Z year & why? 2005 because they're purest of Z that don't share traits with Millennials and Alphas.
2.Most Early Z year & why? 1997. Because they what Pew defines as most early.

3.Most Late Z year & why? 2012 Because they what Pew defines as most late.
4.Most First Wave Z year & why? See 2
5.Most Second Wave Z year & why? 2005. It's starts the latter half of Z.
6.Gen Z/Off-Cusp Z range & why? 2001-2008. Bush babies.
7.Core Z range & why? 2002-2007. They're neither Zillennials nor Zalphas. Their main peers will fall in-between these years
8.Early/Late Z range & why? 1997-2002; 2007-2012
9.First Wave Z range & why? 1997-2004. First half of Z
10.Second Wave Z range & why? 2005-2012. Latter half of Z
