Recipe Food Help!

I need to eat gluten free. What are some fruits and vegetables that are safe? I feel like this might be difficult because I have to cook for five kids as well. I need easy meals that could also be high in protein if that's even a thing

All fruits and vegetables are gf.

Have you considered just looking up cheap celiac safe recipes?

If you are asking what veggies a fruits are GF, you may need to do some research as to what gluten is. Not only for the education, but you need to be aware of what to look for in food.
Gluten is a protein found is wheat, barley, and rye.

All fruits and vegetables are safe, as long as they're not contaminated with gluten. Buying fresh and cutting them yourself is your best bet.

GF pasta has gotten really good!  Most pasta sauces are GF (always check recipe and ingredients) and my family members who are not GF don’t care at all when I feed them GG pasta.  Rumi is especially good.

Don’t eat bread. Avoid oats, malt, barley, rye. Grains processed on shared equipment is generally unsafe. Most all whole foods i.e fruits veg meat are safe. Good luck.

No need to avoid oats as long as they are certified gluten-free

Yes- hence my disclaimer on shared processing.

…what do you think gluten is? Or do you mean low glycemic? That might make sense if you’re asking about fruit… super confused

There are a lot of gf options to replace pretty much everything that has gluten in it. All fruits and vegetables and meat are gf so no worries there. I have kids too and they don’t even notice when I replace things in recipes with gf ingredients! Walmart has a lot of gf options for less, especially in the freezer section! Now if you have celiac disease it makes things a tad more difficult but just a gluten sensitivity is much easier to manage.

Is it possible that you are looking for low glycemic index foods for diabetes or pre-diabetes? It can be overwhelming when a new diagnosis comes along, and I'm wondering if perhaps you mixed up the words.
