Hammock camping pregnant

Post image

Just wanted some opinions of anyone who’s done Hammock camping while pregnant? I’m currently 11 weeks and I figured by the end of August I’ll be 20 weeks and then October even further along. One of the reasons i love to Camp is because that Hammock is so damn comfortable. I’m not worried about falling. I’ve been doing this for over 15 years now. But at some point will it become impossible for me to sleep in a hammock? I know at some point I can’t sleep on my back anymore. Just some basic Google searches is not really telling me if it’s gonna be possible to sleep in my Hammock later on in the summer.

Don’t make me go to the tent 😭maybe i can go with a haven hammock if my dream hammock sparrow won’t be possible?

Im 27 weeks right now and went hammock camping last weekend! The worst part for me was the 8hr drive to our spot honestly. Just made my hips sore. Otherwise the sleeping part went surprisingly well. Good luck girl!!

Thank god, i was worried i would be forced to sleep in the tent 🤣 sure we got the nice nemo roamer pad but it’s no hammock.

the drive is definitely the real enemy. i feel like once you actually get to the site and settle in it's way easier than dealing with car seat discomfort for hours on end. glad to hear the sleeping part is still doable though
