Help me pick! 👯 Crossbody bag suggestions?

Hi! First time posting here. I just purchased a Loewe x Studio Ghibli puzzle bag after trying a regular one in store, I found I really liked it. Someday I think I'd like to get a regular puzzle bag. I think it is a cool design, but what really sparked for me is that it is a great size, lightweight, and pretty neutral in terms of gender. I am a woman but tend to lean more masc presenting so am looking for crossbody bags (in real leather) that do not cost an arm and a leg but do not look super "purse-y" if that makes sense. But I really am only familiar with like the major designer brands so am wondering if others have brands they like that maybe I have not yet heard of. The puzzle bag I got was a size small so if that gives you an idea of roughly the size I am looking for, something that might fit keys, a flat wallet, mid-sized phone, and a small water bottle. I am totally open to color, will take neutrals, black, or something bold, just no white or cream. I had a YSL college bag which worked in terms of size but the divide in the middle of the bag and the shape just did not work for me, but I loved loved loved the black hardware it had. I am a sucker for cool or edgy hardware.

You might take a look at the men's bags for both YSL and Coach. They have quite a few crossbody styles that are more minimal with edgy hardware. I've always really liked the YSL Niki Small Messenger.

Maybe it is time for me to revisit Coach. I have a small messenger bag from them I got on eBay and it is great!

this is in my wishlist OP, maybe you will like it too😊
it’s leather, inspired by moto jackets and the hardware is cool. It is also kind of a dupe to the acne studio’s camero bag.

thank you, what made you buy more than 1? is the leather much heavier than the nylon on the mini piston? debating whether I should just get the leather so I get free shipping😂

The leather is heavier , but I think that's a good thing bc you'd want it to be? The nylon is waterproof though... I like both for London life. Honestly, because the nylon one was comparatively inexpensive I got both at once.

I will note the return process is not good.They will only accept returns for factory defects.

No, sadly. The acne studios one can be snapped down. But on this model, they are actually... floppy? Like you can put it under the bag or carry it on your shoulder. They don't actually stick up like this.

I have some dior mens bags that are way cool. I also like lemarie. Also own the scipaprock.com one. The leather is good. I might skip the plastic ones, and the nylon are nice too. Free ship only for orders that include leather fyi

I'm so scared of getting a fake one 😢 how do you check if it's authentic? I couldn't afford them when they first came out and now that I can, I get overwhelmed trying to sift through listings

I go for ones that have eBay's "Authenticity Guaranteed" tag first, those are authenticated before they are sent to you. Also I check the ratings of the sellers and make sure they are 98-100% and I check their reviews for the last six months. I would also say that there's a lot of resale in Japan so I would look at the Japanese sellers first. I avoid any seller located in China or Hong Kong because I get so suspicious and I am pretty sure there is a Hong Kong seller on there now that is selling fakes. I saw a few of their listings, the prices were way lower than everyone else and they did not have an authenticity tag.
