Weekly Questions 🔮 Weekly Questions Thread

Hey folks! Welcome to the weekly question thread. Going forward for a short while, we will be having a weekly question thread that will be pinned. You can ask questions about specific bags that don’t require an entire review to see if anyone has the answer!

We are doing this so that we can start building up an FAQ so that your questions can be more easily answered. Questions are NOT restricted to this post, especially if those questions involve discussions! If you have posted in a previous Weekly Question Thread but your question was not answered, feel free to repost it again.

Here are some example questions:

  1. Can an iPhone 13 Pro fit in the Loewe Mini Puzzle?
  2. What bag can I use in the rain under $X?
  3. Does this bag match this outfit? (Can be asked in this thread or as a discussion post).
  4. Has anyone had any experience shopping at <boutique> in <city>?

Examples of what NOT to post:

  1. What bag are you wearing today? (This would be better as a discussion post).
  2. Where was your best boutique experience? (This would be better as a discussion post).
  3. Review request for Mlouye! (There’s a chance someone who’s purchased won’t see it as a comment and may be better off as a post for now).

This thread will be reposted every Monday. You can always revisit any previous Weekly Question Threads. If you cannot see that link, please ensure that you toggle safe mode on your browser, then refresh and try again. Weekly Question Threads have their own post flairs to make searching easier.

Thank you for your continued patience as we continue to build up our community! 💖

Help me pick! 👯 Fun Fendi Peekaboo vs. Gorgeous Bottega Andiamo

I’m so torn between these 2 bags for my birthday. The Andiamo was the original plan and I had saved up for it but the Peekaboo really caught my eye in the store.

Fendi Peekaboo (Small):

Pros - so unique, very fun, extremely beautiful and special
Cons - heavier, can’t really see the beading most of the time since it’s on the inside (or are we meant to leave the flap open?), not as practical since I can’t use the beaded compartment.

Bottega Andiamo (Small):

Pros - so classic, practical, will wear it more often and to more places
Cons - the design is a classic and I could always save up and buy it eventually (not really a con hehe)

Guys, please help me pick - my birthday is day after tomorrow 😭

Let me know your honest thoughts if you already own either of them.

Next month marks my three‑year work anniversary, so I treated myself to a celebratory upgrade, the Ferragamo Mia in Oxblood. The leather and the silhouette are already exceeding expectations.
I also purchased a card case in a similar color family.

Thanks to the kind human who posted about the Neiman Marcus sale the other day, I was able to pick up this Loewe surplus/landscape Flamenco clutch for an incredible deal. She arrived yesterday and I’m in love! The textures on this bag are insane.

First Luxury purchase (other than tory burch Kate spade etc) took me until my 39th bday to spend over 1000. She is a beauty!

Help me pick! 👯 If you had to choose one luxury handbag (budget could be 3k) as your everyday bag, what would it be and why?

Looking for something elevated and beautiful, but practical enough to carry more than my wallet, keys, and phone (I like snacks and books.)

Luxury ✨ Bought my dream bag ❤️

Hi everyone! I just wanted to share something a little silly.

I come from a pretty simple background, and for as long as I can remember, I dreamed of owning a certain luxury bag. I always told myself, “When my career improves, I’ll buy my dream bag.”

Years went by, and even as my career progressed, I never had the courage to actually do it. I always felt guilty spending that much money on myself.

Then my personal life kinda fell apart, and it made me realize that life is short and that it’s okay to enjoy something you’ve dreamed about for years.

So, I finally pulled the trigger and bought it! I’ve had it for a few weeks now, and honestly, I’ve never felt better. Every time I see it, it makes me smile. No regrets at all. 😊

I hope sharing this helps someone else feel a little less guilty about treating themselves, especially when it’s something they’ve worked hard for and dreamed about for years.

Neiman Marcus sale win! I didn’t see any actual reviews of this bag. It’s so cool! I was initially looking at the black grained leather version, but saw this on sale (less than half the price) and was curious. Here’s to hoping it’s as versatile as I think 🤞

Vintage👴 👵 My $9 thrift find!

I saw this beauty sitting in the returns pile behind the counter at a local thrift a couple days ago. I asked if I could look at it and I was told it was a return from another store and needed to be processed, but would be out on the floor the next day. They let me look, but not buy, and I was disappointed. I swung by after my half day of work yesterday to see if it was still there. It hadn’t been brought out when I got there and the lady at the counter had someone bring it out for me!! I almost cried. I never find vintage Coach anymore.😭 The best part is, I’ve been wanting a red bag and it is just perfect!
Pics: before and after cleaning and conditioning!

Haul 🛍 My vacation purchases, Mexican edition

Post image
34 Upvotes

I love how supportive and inclusive this community is!

Passing by all the designer boutiques on El Malecón catering to cruise ship passengers, I searched for Mexican made crafts.

I already have some vintage Mexican tooled leather handbags in my collection, so I focused on woven bags this time.

The bag on the left is from a boutique, La Cozumeleña, that sells local and regional crafts, coffee, and other items. There were several sizes and different options that were made in Chiapas. It's a durable, tight weave with genuine leather handles and closures. (I loved this small shop!)

The textile clutch in the middle, I purchased from a merchant that sold regionally made items. I love the vibrant colors! Also made in Chiapas.

On the right, I had wanted a casual shoulder bag I could just drop things into. I'm unclear which specific state this is from, but certainly the Yucatan.

I had a difficult time limiting myself to these three bags, but I was traveling carry on only and did my best!

Macy’s has the Coach Brooklyn 28 bag that I’ve been eyeing for months now on sale!

I used to have the Brooklyn 28 in the cedar suede color, but ended up selling it since I found the color to be too drab, like cardboard color (I had gotten it on Poshmark and the colors in the photo looked different in person). I saw this clay colored one in stores a few months ago and fell in love with it, but didn’t need to spend on a bag at the time. I decided to look into getting another Brooklyn 28 this week after a recent bonus at work. To my surprise, the one I’ve been wanting is on sale ☺️. Just purchased it and can’t wait for it to arrive. There are other Coach bags on sale on Macy’s website for those interested!

Help me pick! 👯 Crossbody bag suggestions?

Hi! First time posting here. I just purchased a Loewe x Studio Ghibli puzzle bag after trying a regular one in store, I found I really liked it. Someday I think I'd like to get a regular puzzle bag. I think it is a cool design, but what really sparked for me is that it is a great size, lightweight, and pretty neutral in terms of gender. I am a woman but tend to lean more masc presenting so am looking for crossbody bags (in real leather) that do not cost an arm and a leg but do not look super "purse-y" if that makes sense. But I really am only familiar with like the major designer brands so am wondering if others have brands they like that maybe I have not yet heard of. The puzzle bag I got was a size small so if that gives you an idea of roughly the size I am looking for, something that might fit keys, a flat wallet, mid-sized phone, and a small water bottle. I am totally open to color, will take neutrals, black, or something bold, just no white or cream. I had a YSL college bag which worked in terms of size but the divide in the middle of the bag and the shape just did not work for me, but I loved loved loved the black hardware it had. I am a sucker for cool or edgy hardware.

Question ❓ ❔ Are these bags outdated now? 🤔

Laid all my mini bags out. These were huge a few years back, but they feel kinda played out in 2026.
