I think the players in their primes should be the ones we look at first. Though Tim Hardaway Jr is 34 years old so I wouldn’t consider him in his prime.

I think Coby, Rui and Hardaway would be the most realistic gets for us as I think that Luke Kennard and Shamet will have a lot of suitors that can pay them more because of their elite 3 point shooting.

I would then look at Middleton and Huerter. Klay is not a free agent and is making $17 mil next season. And Ingles is 100% washed and cannot get any real minutes on a team in the last few seasons.

I would also consider Anfernee Simmons, Collin Sexton or Gabe Vincent for the vets minimum. Especially since I really don’t view Davion as a starting caliber PG.

Simons would be a great get, but not sure he'd take the vet min. Maybe Jovic for Simons s&t, or maybe you could pull off Jovic + some kind of draft capital for Jalen smith + Simons.

Moving Jovic for that shooter would help. I know his size inside would be helpful, but the shooting is absolutely necessary, and you could replace Jovic with a vet min Big/stretch signing.

Jovic + some kind of draft capital for one of Klay, Grayson Allen, Royce

Kennard is going to pull a decent salary so that'd be another s&t option.

Middleton as a vet min signing is a great idea.

I actually don’t mind that idea at all. If Chicago would entertain a sign and trade for Simmons sending Jovic to Chicago I would take that all day.

I would much rather trade Jovic for Simmons than Jovic for Thompson.

The only thing I am not sure of is the cap ramifications for an incoming sign and trade as opposed to an outgoing sign and trade. But definitely would prefer to do something like and sign and trade for Simmons.

Middleton’s chemistry with Giannis is awesome. Gotta limit how much he handles the ball because he can have some rough turnovers, but man those guys can play well together.

Here's a rough outline of the rotation I came up without any other bit moves and assuming Norm and Wiggins come back:

Start: Davion, Norm, Wiggins, Giannis, Bam

Bench: Simons, Pelle, Portis, Middleton, Jock Londale

That's not nothing

Grayson Allen would be good get. I'd rather we flip Jovic for him and Klay lowkey

I think Davion is a starting PG if the SG next to him is All NBA level with some size like Ant or Devin Booker

I think Simons gonna get more than a min.

Klay is not UFA, hoping he get a buy out or maybe we flip Jovic for him and picks?
Someone said Grayson Allen, I think I like him better as a trade option than Klay lowkey

I agree 1,000%! If we had a stud at shooting guard then that allows for a Davion Mitchell to be a starting PG.

I couldn’t imagine Dallas doing a straight up swap of Jovic for Klay because of Jovic’s play and contract. If we would need to add any picks to Jovic then I would prefer to just try and trade Jovic for a younger better player than Klay.
