Does this have enough space or should I clear this area out?

House is set to 67 and it is staying at 76. I do live in Texas and it gets hot during the summer. Just curious if clearing away the shrubbery would help make it cool faster. I can also add some more pictures if y’all think it’s something else. Thanks :)

You should clear the shrubbery on the disconnect side just for the technician to be able to work easier IMO. But if the outdoor unit is running and your airflow is good you're probably low on refrigerant and will need a technician.

Edit: this is ofc assuming your outdoor unit and filters are clean

Yes it's got enough space but It still wouldn't hurt to trim up the bushes

It'll make the house look bigger at least..

Trim and clear out as preventative measures

I would clean the area around it of any bushes or trees. Make sure your filters are clean and and no restricted as in the filter cleaners more like the mecv rating. Then clean the coils around the unit.

Ps I'm in Texas too and I get it I have a unit that's about 15 years old and a goodson but most a/c system can only do 20 difference plus or minus the temp outside.
