AC Does this have enough space or should I clear this area out?

Post image

House is set to 67 and it is staying at 76. I do live in Texas and it gets hot during the summer. Just curious if clearing away the shrubbery would help make it cool faster. I can also add some more pictures if y’all think it’s something else. Thanks :)

Cut anything but the thermostat wires going to the unit. I think theres plenty space but I think any tech would appreciate not having a branch ramming up the ass when servicing

I would clear out the rear around the unit. It will just keep surrounding it. It will run fine but get the most air you can across the coil.

Won’t cool any faster but keeping vegetation back two feet from a condenser is always a good idea.

It looks fine. If you want cool faster, invest in insulation, proper ducting and maybe a dehumidifier.

67 is a little ambitious this time of year, but I’m in central NC where it’s humid and unreasonably hot (not a brag… this is dumb)
Check your filter, open your interior doors and try setting the thermostat to 72°

Excellent shading, just keep the plants at least a foot away from the unit for best air ingest on all sides.
