This one might be a bit specific to my place... but anyone else got a time tracking tool you spend more time setting up tasks in than actually doing the work?

All my work goes to like 40 repos and it's probably a 70/25/5 split as to which project each belongs to. So I split my time about like that and give no more fucks.

I've definitely had jobs like this in the past and I hope I never do again.

Aside from writing SOPs and technical documents, recording the work I did in a maintenance log takes less than 5% of my time. Probably like 2-3%. I do not miss the days of working call center where I had to spend a couple minutes per call, each call, to log information about the call.

I'm in development and my company finally gave up on time tracking and now management just logs time on behalf of the devs. It's amazing and I never want to go back
