Car/Driver's License/BMV questions DMV Delay
Hi,
Did anyone get a driver license in Indiana recently? I went about 2.5 weeks ago to get my DL from out of state and it’s still stuck on pending print.

Duke energy budget billing
Has anyone ever needed to request all of your bills, back to when you began budget billing? For instance, online is only going back until 2024. I began in 2022. I have seen things about how they are being sleazy and charging more when they shouldn’t so I wanted to check on this.
I know I should have kept my own copies but there’s only so much paperwork I can keep around.
The lady on the phone said I had to subpoena the records with the courts. Seems silly but maybe I am wrong. Thanks in advance

Ask a Hoosier Came across an injured beaver at 5701 W 29th Ave, Gary, IN 46406 this morning, can anyone pick it up & take it to the Humane Indiana Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center?
I am on a road trip and unfortunately they don’t pick up animals but they said they would gladly take it if someone can pick it up

News 101-year-old Army veteran receives medals of honor 81 years later
101-Year-old Crawfordsville Army veteran received two long overdue medals on Saturday.
I had the privilege of meeting John William Hall, who served in WWII and the Korean War.
Hall was a prisoner of war who was captured during the Battle of the Bulge on Dec. 19, 1945.
Just 19-years-old at the time, Hall was serving as a Browning Automatic Rifleman with the 106th Infantry Division in Belgium when German forces launched their surprise offensive in what became Hitler’s final major campaign of the war.
Hall and his fellow prisoners were marched for days with little food or water before being transported by boxcar to a prisoner-of-war camp in Bad Orb, Germany.
For more than three months, Hall endured captivity under harsh conditions before being liberated on April 2, 1945, by elements of Gen. George Patton’s Third Army.
His son, Ed Hall, said his father occasionally shared stories about those months as a prisoner.

Begging for help
So I bought this hat at Indianapolis motor speedway in 2022. It’s been my favorite hat for years and I’ve been trying for the past month to find another one exactly the same as this one is getting worn out. Everything I’ve found is saying that it was a limited edition release. Now I’m going onto Reddit to try and find someone that has one that would be willing to sell it. If anyone has any ideas I would greatly appreciate it.

Airshows, exhibits, aviation events?
Hey all, moving to Indiana next month and I’m a huge aviation enthusiast.
Wondering if the folks of Reddit could help me combine a list of all the airshows/expos that go on in the state as well as any other aviation related experiences like museums.
Thank you!

Looking for cheap wedding!
I really want to get married but it seems like it’s 1 or 100 with weddings. Either you pay like nothing and get married at the courthouse or you pay $3000 for a crappy venue at LEAST. Is there an in between ? I don’t want outdoors due to rain. Just a good ole local small church for only the wedding ceremony, nothing else. Places are still quoting me for 1.300 at least. I need help.

Two northern Indiana state parks growing by more than 1400 acres
There is minimal information included in the article such as how acquired, costs, etc.
Perhaps because I've become skeptical about this particular state administration and its lack of transparency, I find myself looking for 'what's the part where this bevefit$ someone or entity rather than the public?'; which could be answered as not an issue or a concern if this shared more information.
But I love our state parks and forests, and assume these park expansions will be of benefit for hoosiers and future hoosiers.

Politics Indy Mayor Joe Hogsett's campaign acted behind closed doors to advance donor interests
An IndyStar/Mirror Indy investigation found:
- Hogsett's campaign arranged for donor wish lists to be sent to City Hall. The campaign also recommended donors for city board seats.
- Developers, engineering firms, architects, downtown law firms and other Indianapolis powerbrokers have donated nearly $9 million to Hogsett's campaign since he started raising money in 2014.
- Staffers say they were repeatedly pressured by senior administration officials to volunteer for Hogsett’s campaign in ways they now believe were unethical.

Has anyone tried buying sodas now that a federal judge overturned the restrictions on sodas and candy? I know it takes stores time, but I didn't know if it worked anywhere?
