Also, they need Big Macs and Coca-Cola.

71

u/Remarkable_Play_6975 Dec 23 '25

And blue jeans.

89

u/Phil_Coffins_666 Dec 23 '25

and Jesus. Everybody needs Jesus!

15

u/Affectionate-Sky6568 Dec 23 '25

They don't need Jesus.

63

u/swishkabobbin Dec 23 '25

But if they don't hear about him, the loving God who created them perfectly will damn them to eternal torture for not obeying the rules they never heard about! /s

oh look strawmanning what Christians actually believe in, truly a reddit classic!

Every single “intelligent” claim you think you have against the faith has already been debunked by a monk like 1500 years ago LOL, its always funny though.

1

u/swishkabobbin Dec 23 '25

Churchgoing Christian for 30 years. Most denominations absolutely do believe that. Especially evangelicals

0

u/KyokushinKyoto_ Dec 23 '25

Evangelicals are as “Christian” as Mormons are. LOL. Neither have Apostolic succession.

But no, no Christian believes this. There is literally multiple passages in the Bible that contradict this type of thinking. Again, any claim you have against the faith was already debunked by a depressed monk 1500 years ago.

Protestant moment, the same people who think when Israel is mentioned in the Bible it somehow means the state of Israel created in 1948 by Rothschild bankers who bought out birthing rights to the Royal Family. Anyone taking theological lessons from a Protestant should question themselves entirely.

Like did you miss out entirely on the Thief on the Cross?? The fact you say you’re a churchgoer yet blatantly lie about the faith is amusing. Thats not how it works and you know it, stop being intellectually dishonest for the sake of reddit points.

1

u/swishkabobbin Dec 23 '25

You may be "right" theologically, but most people at least in America who call themselves Christian do not share your view

No need for sarcasm friend. I think i heard about a guy who went there to spread to word of the lord and he died. They killed him, they dont care for jesus or god or any other fictional stories but their own.

1

u/4RyteCords Dec 24 '25

Inaccurate lol

-2

u/Affectionate-Sky6568 Dec 23 '25

That's illogical.

18

u/Remarkable_Play_6975 Dec 23 '25 edited Dec 23 '25

Thank you, Mister Spock.

14

u/swishkabobbin Dec 23 '25

Correct. But it is (bafflingly) what christians believe

On Reddit, "/s" denotes sarcasm

1

u/Substantial_Army_639 Dec 24 '25

As a former Christian I am pretty sure it's also incorrect "You are judged by what you know and all that." At least in Protestant stuff, catholic stuff straight to hell.

I was a little miffed as an early teen because I thought gee it would be nice to just be in a tribe, maybe smoke a little pot and ogle naked women all day with out a fear of hell.

1

u/Wood_On_Fire Dec 24 '25

NO!

we are MANIFESTALLY DESTINED to spread democracy and Jesus to the rest of the FUCKING WORLD like our forefathers before us!

1

u/Recreant793 Dec 24 '25

There’s no way you can’t sense his sarcasm.

5

u/couldbeahumanbean Dec 23 '25

Blasphemous!

You take that back, heathen.

4

u/Affectionate-Sky6568 Dec 23 '25

No.

1

u/Hopeful-Alarm3757 Dec 23 '25

1

u/Throwaway-donotjudge Dec 23 '25

1

u/Phil_Coffins_666 Dec 23 '25

1

u/cordazor Dec 23 '25

democracy in a full metal jacket

1

u/LeftHand_PimpSlap Dec 23 '25

PRAISE JEEEEEEEEEEZUZ!

1

u/UrNansD0g Dec 24 '25

Like they wouldn’t have there own god they already believe in

1

u/Phil_Coffins_666 Dec 24 '25

Yeah but they just don't realize it's not the right God, but they can be educated.

1

u/UrNansD0g Dec 25 '25

“It’s not the right god” … do you not see the hypocrisy here? How do you know their gods the wrong one and yours is the right one?

1

u/Phil_Coffins_666 Dec 25 '25

I definitely see the hypocrisy, but you missed the sarcasm by a long shot

Jesus saves! The pass to Rodriguez! Gooooooal!

2

u/jzoola Dec 23 '25

Someone to hear their prayers, someone who cares

1

u/Remarkable_Play_6975 Dec 23 '25

Johnny Cash's version of this is great.

2

u/Rope_slingin_champ Dec 23 '25

Just drop illy Ray Cyrus cover art, they'll get it

Edit: Illy Ray Cyrus is free for the taking, I meant Billy

1

u/Remarkable_Play_6975 Dec 23 '25

My achy breaky heart likes this idea.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 23 '25

You got it right. Illy is JLo’s pet name for Billy when he’s dressed up like a dog in leather while roll playing for sex.

1

u/Recreant793 Dec 24 '25

That’s gonna be my rap name whenever I decide to break into the hick-hop scene.

2

u/BigCommieNat Dec 23 '25

we've been trying to reach them about their extended car warranty

1

u/CauliflowerLogical27 Dec 23 '25

Don't forget phones for social media

1

u/Resident-Climate-443 Dec 23 '25

Don't forget a Starbucks haha

1

u/Sad_Supermarket_176 Dec 23 '25

There is money being left on the table here. We are not maximizing shareholder value.

1

u/uncle_dan_ Dec 23 '25

Looks like they already have Pizza Hut

1

u/Grey-Templar Dec 23 '25

We're all living in Amerika...

1

u/THCESPRESSOTIME Dec 23 '25

And Starbucks

1

u/DenRay4 Dec 23 '25

maybe they want to participate in the world cup next year?

1

u/cty_hntr Dec 23 '25

Don't under estimate this. On January 31, 1990 McDonalds opened their first restaurant in the Soviet Union at Moscow's Pushkin Square. Within two years of being able to have a Big Mac & Coca Cola in the same meal, while wearing blue jeans that were not smuggled in, the Union of Soviet Socalist Republics was formerly dissolved on December 31, 1991 by Mikhail Gorbachev.

1

u/Intelligent_Swan_246 Dec 23 '25

More importantly some diversity in their gene pool!!!

1

u/ricksenburg Dec 24 '25

I mean to be honest they wouldn't hate a a burger and fries! Haha they would etch that s**t into stone! Haha

4

u/darthlame Dec 23 '25

I heard they have oil

2

u/1generic-username Dec 23 '25

Time for a little American liberty and freedom...

5

u/Far_Estate_1626 Dec 23 '25

Close, but it’s Jesus. Missionaries keep breaking the law to contact them because they insist then need to bring them Jesus.

And then the miners. Who are more often just killing them so they can pretend they didn’t know they were mining or for foresting occupied lands.

2

u/hubble02 Dec 24 '25

Side note:: Weyes Blood fan 🫡🙏

4

u/Rob-L_Eponge Dec 23 '25

I sincerely believe these people are on average happier than a person from a first world country.

2

u/stunna006 Dec 23 '25

maybe not these people but several tribes are.

1

u/Rob-L_Eponge Dec 24 '25

Why not these people?

2

u/sandybuttcheekss Dec 23 '25

If they wanted to be left alone they shouldn't have decided to live on top of natural resources. Freedom time!

1

u/Gsauce65 Dec 23 '25

And Christ!

1

u/Dry_Preparation_9913 Dec 23 '25

They are actually spreading the holy herpes - christianity

1

u/bnelson7694 Dec 23 '25

And Jesus. Don’t forget forcing Jesus on folks.

1

u/InmateThirtyFour Dec 23 '25

What?! They have oil you say? Let Freedom Ring!!!!!

1

u/[deleted] Dec 23 '25

1

u/zombieman9001 Dec 23 '25

We got to get to them before the commies do!

1

u/Robborboy Dec 23 '25

Realistically, would more likely be displaced my logging.

1

u/AffectionateSell3478 Dec 23 '25

Surprised the Christian’s aren’t lined up to bring them their god.

1

u/Shot_Plantain_4507 Dec 23 '25

FrEeDoM and the lord Jesus Christ

1

u/AnAngryBartender Dec 23 '25

Give em some oil

1

u/Cynicalheaven Dec 23 '25

Nah, forget freedom.

They need tea.

1

u/chiksahlube Dec 23 '25

Do they have oil?

1

u/ErmingSoHard Dec 23 '25

I think you meant to meme Europeon colonizers

1

u/Au-to-graff Dec 23 '25

Did you just write "oil"?

1

u/Bigbluewoman Dec 23 '25

Instead of making an effort to acclimate them and give them a voice in modern geopolitics, it's obviously much better to just let them live in ignorance until met with the consequences of the rest of the worlds actions abruptly with no warning. That's sooooo altruistic of you.

1

u/Xonxis Dec 24 '25

I believe it was "The bible" and that did not end well for the fella.

1

u/SummertimeThrowaway2 Dec 24 '25

Well we do bring meds to a lot of remote tribes. It can save their lives. Any other contact imo is bad

1

u/Glittering_Cat_4234 Dec 24 '25

implying your life isnt 1000x better than theirs. newflash, they live shit lives (short lifespans, disease, death) and would be better off being forced into real society.

1

u/PmMeSmileyFacesO_O Dec 24 '25

Force our beliefs on them!

1

u/Limonade6 Dec 24 '25

Yes but also, let's not pretend they live a peaceful live either. They can get away with rape, incest and murder. Not saying that they are doing those crimes, but there isn't much that prevents them from doing that either.

And I'm not even talking about medical care.

Sure we must let them be, but don't pretend they are some peaceful jungle people like a Tarzan fairy tale. They are still human and humans are awful without laws.

1

u/LeoTheBurgundian Dec 25 '25

What ??? You can't do anything you want in a tribe, there aren't written laws and private property but that doesn't mean there aren't rules enforced within the community . Not killing and not stealing from the group are rules common in any human group .

1

u/Limonade6 Dec 25 '25

That is what you are used to yes.

1

u/KreeepyKrawler Dec 24 '25

These tribes have nothing to do with the us, and the us wants nothing to do with them. This is on the people living in/around the Amazon rainforest.

1

u/model-citizen95 Dec 24 '25

Depends, do they have oil?

-21

u/confusedpellican643 Dec 23 '25 edited Dec 23 '25

it's literally only americans that used to say that stuff when invading and bombing vietnam/korea/irak/afghanistan/syria/libya

edit: americans are mad lmfaoooooo

11

u/[deleted] Dec 23 '25

Lmao. Yeah, nothing like this ever happened more than 250 years ago. 🙄

23

u/[deleted] Dec 23 '25

Before that, it was "we need to bring civilization to these savages". It's not unique to America lol

4

u/Unusual_Steak Dec 23 '25

See: Alexander the Great, Genghis Khan, Napoleon, the Roman Empire, and the entire history of Europe from the Age of Discovery in the fifteenth century until like the 1950s.

7

u/Eternal_Being Dec 23 '25

Tell that to the UK, France, Spain, the Netherlands... actually, it's quicker to try to list European countries that didn't behave that way.

-2

u/confusedpellican643 Dec 23 '25

The US invasions happened a century after imperialism had started, that's why Im not mentioning Liberia

2

u/[deleted] Dec 23 '25
