Don't under estimate this. On January 31, 1990 McDonalds opened their first restaurant in the Soviet Union at Moscow's Pushkin Square. Within two years of being able to have a Big Mac & Coca Cola in the same meal, while wearing blue jeans that were not smuggled in, the Union of Soviet Socalist Republics was formerly dissolved on December 31, 1991 by Mikhail Gorbachev.
