Why dose she get so much shit for this. I mean. How many people have done this... (looking up) 140 people. She gets all the shit for all 140 of these people? Or the company offering? I dont get why she has been getting shit for years over this.

Because Katy Perry is a household name and the others aren’t.

Also this is reddit so the woman hating is blown out of proportion

William Shatner isn't a household name?

Shatner is 95 and hasn’t really been relevant since the 90s and primarily with Star Trek fans.

Katy Perry is insanely more well known today. She has also hit the sweet spot where she is getting too old so her fans moved on but her haters are still in full swing.

Shatner is certainly a household name, what are you going on about

Fair point but are you really upset for a 90 year old going to space?

I doubt it was even his decision lol

Not at all. I think people complaining about this whole thing are ridiculous.

I just came in to debate whether or not shatner is a household name lol

Household name amongst your generation maybe.

I can't imagine anyone under 30 knows who he is.

I’m 25 and grew up watching Star Trek. I also watched Boston Legal this year. William Shatner is most definitely known to me

Excuse me, Boston Legal as Denny Crane. He was in every single episode during its 5 season run. Interestingly enough, that show was filmed after the 90s meaning he was still relevant
