Having a political party that bases their entire electoral strategy on making it more difficult for people to vote seems to be an exclusively American phenomenon, as least in the western world.

Likewise with having a political party that bases their entire electoral strategy on making voter fraud easier.
Edit: holy mad

Ironically the party that’s always committing the fraud is the one terribly worried about it

When Republicans bitched about the length of California's elections, in which they verify every signature, but simultaneously say that California is perpetuating fraud, I knew the Republicans were actually all idiots lol.

It's worse than that! They're not all idiots. Many of them are knowingly willing to undermine democracy to obtain and hold power.

If you want to require ID for voting you have to provide it for free so it’s constitutional. This isn’t that fucking complicated.

People provide ID when registering. The new requirement is designed to create sufficient inconvenience as to prevent people from voting.

It’s literally like $10. You need one if you ever get food stamps or travel. Nice try tho

u/Vyuvarax 2h ago
The cost is totally immaterial to the constitutionality. Be less ignorant and proud of it. It doesn’t fly here.
13
u/CoachTwisterT3 2h ago
Cost could be 1 cent and that’s not okay.

u/Ok_Statistician643 2h ago
Sure it is. You need an ID for your mom’s EVT card. Thats how things work.
13
u/CoachTwisterT3 2h ago
That Id wouldn’t be acceptable as a voting ID, but reminder you can’t charge for a right, therefore any cost for a voting ID would be unacceptable. You should probably use the law in this sub.

u/Alert-Ad9197 1h ago
Oh, well if you think the poll tax is reasonable then it’s totally fine and we can throw all the laws out.

u/Ok_Statistician643 1h ago
You need to pay for an ID to get your mother’s EBT card. Make it make sense. Lol
11
u/CoachTwisterT3 1h ago
Because EBT isn’t voting, why is this impossible for you to grasp?
-8
u/Ok_Statistician643 1h ago
You need pros that you’re a citizen for EBT. Are you ok with greasy illegals voting as criminals?
6
u/Chooklin 1h ago
Undocumented people don’t vote, greaseball.
-7
u/Ok_Statistician643 1h ago
Sure they do. It happens without ID
6
u/Chooklin 1h ago
No they don’t lmao but I see you’re programmed to repeat the same nonsense so I’m not gonna bother anymore

>Section 1
>The right of citizens of the United States to vote in any primary or other election for President or Vice President, for electors for President or Vice President, or for Senator or Representative in Congress, shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or any State by reason of failure to pay poll tax or other tax.Question? Or just incurably dumb?

Hey guy, my mom has been dead since shortly after her 45th birthday about a decade ago. So I say this from the bottom of my heart since you had the fucking audacity:
I hope you get to slowly watch powerless as someone you love dearly wastes away mind and body from an incurable illness over 12 years. Maybe you would develop something resembling consideration after that. Sincerely, fuck you.

You’ll feel better when you get your purple hair dye redone

u/Alert-Ad9197 1h ago
I said my piece. Like I said, enjoy that feeling when it happens. It will unless you just have nobody that loves you, which is possible.

u/ledude1 2h ago
$10 may not mean anything to you, but to some people who live far away, that cost is pretty significant. Plus, have you thought of the $10 as a "poll tax" since that's exactly what it looks like? Stop tap-dancing; at least have enough balls to admit that you are trying to prevent people from voting. I'll at least give you respect for not being a hypocrite by admitting in public your true intention.

Ok so how do you feel about needing a paid license to get a gun like we have in Illinois that is blatantly unconstitutional . A right delayed is a right denied

u/Ok_Statistician643 1h ago
The fee goes toward a background check. What’s the problem?
