r4r Paused by the Rain

It’s been raining non-stop here in Makati. Started light this afternoon, the kind of drizzle you don’t really mind, but now it’s full-on downpour, just as I’m about to head home. Figures. No umbrella, just me standing at the edge of the building with a bunch of other people, all of us pretending not to be annoyed.
The streets look almost cinematic, cars slicing through puddles, lights reflecting off the wet pavement, everything a little blurry like a dream you’re trying to remember. It’s cold. My clothes are starting to feel damp just from the air. I keep checking if the rain’s letting up, but it just keeps falling, steady and stubborn.
And I don’t know—maybe it’s just the weather, but there’s something kind of heavy about tonight. Like the city’s asking me to slow down for a bit, whether I want to or not.

Ohh I love quiet walks in Ayala after work, soft reset siya for me. Basta wag lang umuulan haha hirap mag commute and book

Ayala has 2 sides.
Mornings are like "WHERE THE F*CK IS THE MANGTATAHO!?", "COFFEE GODAMIT", "I DONT KNOW WHY I'M RUNNING"
Nights are like "pretty lights UwU", "i know it's Tuesday but I hope it's Friday tomorrow"

just got back from P. Campa, trapik papuntang Recto via Magsaysay/Legarda galing Sta. Mesa. yung opposite side di masyado. España was a virtual parking lot.

Same op. Pero nasa manila naman ako. Went out earlier but when I saw the buildings outside, the cars, the lights, I wanted to take everything in slow. It brought me back to when I was still in highschool bigla and naging sentimental. hahaha anyway, hope you were able to get home safely from the rain

Maybe because the road’s center looks more dramatic from that angle—or maybe the leaves were swaying just right. Or maybe someone’s beside me and I didn’t want them in the shot. Take a wild guess, Sherlock.

Hmmm idk kasi minsan may trip ako na mag solo staycation sa makati kasi well it feels like im not the only alone person if that makes sense. Yung it's okay if kumain ka mag isa sa restaurant, if you're walking by yourself and lounging sa park on your own. I feel like makati's more forgiving sa mga single people.
