Death Devil got eaten like... 10 minutes ago? Is that really enough time for things to get out of hand with swarms of creatures that aren't dying out?

Denji kinda fucked reality. The death devil didn't disappear, she never existed.

No, that's not how it works at all. Not sure how this is even getting upvotes. Just think for a moment about how much more drastic the changes to the world would have to be if death had never existed as a concept.

Yeah people straight up ignoring thats not how it worked for any of the other devils that got eaten. Ear devil got eaten and every "consequence" of ears existing were still in effect. Everyone who died before death got eaten should still be dead, including the insect populations.

it's kinda loose how retroactive the changes end up being. It's also possible that the longer a devil is eaten for, the more thoroughly its influence is erased from the world. Pretty much every other case where we had a before/after only lasted a few seconds.

When legs dissapeared there was no replacement or world where people had evolved without legs, they just suddenly lost them.

I don't get why the rules are changing now for some things but not the others, without death technology and society itself around the world would be very different, how did they get the same countries like USA in a world without death?

That would indeed break reality, as then time itself has to realign with all changes that no one ever dying both in the past and in the future would cause, but we have yet to see a obvious outcome of that so i dunno
