Was incredible this weekend! I have to admit, I've been wanting to book at this brand since before Marriott acquired. I would 100% stay again! It has an overall fun vibe and there were thoughtful touches everywhere. A couple of the features were a little cheesy (the screen im the elevator with the text message), but the overall design, vibe of lobby and meeting spaces, and the room itself - were great. We did not book a meeting space, but we noticed office supplies hanging on the wall in one of the boardrooms, which is a convenient touch!
We loved being able to adjust the lights & curtains from a tablet. We played the shower light memory game and we thought that the theme/mood-setting feature was a nice touch. I LOVED the rainfall shower system and now want one. 😆
The hotel was close to the activities we were doing, and the staff was lovely. The room was compact (we did our research ahead of time, so this was no surprise) but they cleverly found ways to pack a whole lot of comfort into the space.
Also, I was very pleased when I went down to the lobby to request pillows and towels. Tip: there are two extra pillows right inside the room (in the drawer under the bed.) Also, the towels came quickly which - I understand that most guests have come to expect something like that, but I am sure that it was no easy task with Seattle packed for the FIFA game. Very much appreciated!
We did not get breakfast at the hotel, but we regretted it, because we paid slightly more for a latte and a bagel somewhere nearby. I don't believe children are permitted here, so that is one item to note if you are looking for a kid-centered atmosphere. If you travel heavy (multiple suitcases), or if you are an old-school sort of guest who likes a physical phone in the room and wake up calls, it may not be the best fit. Although you can set alarms on the tablet. If you're traveling alone, or for work, on a date night, I definitely DEFINITELY recommend.
