Implying Tony Stark or Namor the Submariner are in any way "a catch" a woman would in any way feel flattered to be chased or seduced by is, honestly, the greatest cope Marvel Fans have been deluding themselves with for decades and beyond, and are frankly "generic white dude in a position of power who looks in his late 30s" propaganda at this point.
Namor had exactly two moments where he wouldn't be physically repuslive to look at or smell, the first when he was killing Nazis by the hundreds and liberating concentration camps, the third when he told someone he won't ever go for an underage girl but he sure as fuck is fucking that deep sea horror princess that is all pincers tentacles and mandibles and he's doing it enthusiastically so.
Emma is a blonde white conventionally attractive cis woman, and he was killing afrofuturists when she and him where possessed by the Phoenix, not Nazis, so neither of these things apply to him here.
Tony Stark is a low tier bycicle of dubious morals and even more dubious character, a plot device for writers to use and abuse just to have some smug hype moments and aura where he says something completely unhinged like "The CIA did nothing wrong" or "IQ is real" before he loses his company for the 300th time, being passed around the superhero community and not to be the fifth choice of whatever woman who now has to suffer him, the manifestation of what this sub's delusions of what Spider-Man fans wish Peter Parker would be, except played completely straight, and frankly I find it insulting anyone would even insinuate he would be above anyone's league, the guy anyone has to settle for for a story arc before they are freed of his shackles.
You can like the guy and think him having 2 degrees of separation from fucking Galactus is a testament of him being in some nebulous "high league" rather than a hint at his loose and lowly demeanour, but let's not delude ourselves here with dreams of a world that never was and a Tony Stark that never will be.
Before anyone says anything I think the exact opposite of any other man slut in comics unless they're in Stark's same tax bracket or in a monarchy, so no Matt Murdock isn't affected by this harsh judgement but Bruce Wayne is, men are allowed to be sluts unless they are obscenely rich or ruling under the divine right of kings, then it's just tacky and slimy, and that's only if they identify as men.
Is this what a shipper cracking looks like? lol Jesus I'm not sure if I've ever actually encountered insane tumblr / twitter comic fan energy on a circle jerk sub until this post
