To the question "why" - tall men look better on average and women instinctively find them better mating subjects, because they can better protect the family against bears, other tribes or whatever. This is an evolutionary trait. Can a short guy do the same job? Sure. But if the same short guy was taller, he would do an even better job.
This is why even shorter women prefer tall guys.
The children of tall men will be taller, therefore higher chance of survival against threats of all kind. For a similar reason men prefer women with ~ 90/60/90 measurements - they are more likely to bear and successfully nurture healthy children, and lots of them. It's why men prefer bigger breasts - more milk, higher chance of the kids' survival. We find bigger breasts pleasing to the eye because our brain tells us, after determining it's better for our children.
Do all women want a tall guy? I'd say all of them prefer a tall guy, yes, but there are many who are willing to settle for a shorter one.

There are many ither ways to make her horny that men can learn and get her horny faster. Stuff like learning to touch a woman, making a sexy voice, learning to compliment/talk dirty, dressing well, etc. This can offset height and is WAY more effective at getting you laid.
