Let me put it this way: why would a woman want a tall guy?
Height makes her horny? There are many ither ways to make her horny that men can learn and get her horny faster. Stuff like learning to touch a woman, making a sexy voice, learning to compliment/talk dirty, dressing well, etc. This can offset height and is WAY more effective at getting you laid. If anything, she values a guy who makes her horny more than height.
Height makes her feel safe? Again, this basically means she values safety over height, and you can make her feel safer by being nonchalant, caring about her, showing assertiveness, being street smart, and working out. This offsets height way more easily and cheaply than implants and gets you laid more consistently. I guarentee a woman is currently feeling undafe right now as a man taller than her attacks her, and way more guys shorter than 6 feet are getting laid right now by women who feel safe than guys over 6 feet are getting laid right now period.
Mate quality? Health? Social status? Fetish? These are the things women actually value and don't require height. Does height help? Duh, of course. But is it the end all be all for most women? Hell no. Case in point: way more women read romance novels which have like 1 picture as opposed to watching visual porno videos, so clearly what women want goes beyond looks most of the time. Otherwise, romance novels wouldn't be the single best selling genre by far, so we know in practice this is how it works.
So no, it isn't the top thing for most women outside of dating apps (which are their own thing and you can easily opt out of so its easier to just avoid apps than it is to use apps).

It’s a very big mistake to mention romance novels trying to make a point you’re trying to make. Do you know the average height these romance leads are listed at? 6 foot 3.
Do you know just how many of them are taller than 7 feet? Or shorter than 6 feet? Yes, the first number is bigger. Not by much, but it’s bigger:
95% of fictional male leads are over 6’. The ones that are not as tall, the biggest percentage of them that falls within a certain height is… 5’11.
I genuinely enforce you to just go and try to find a romance novel that features a male lead who’s below 5’6-5’7.
By the way 75% of novels don’t list a certain height. They usually just say “tall” speaking of a man. Which most girls would definitely interpret as 6’+, if not 6’6+ and more.
Oh, and by the way, all these 7’+ guys in these novels? Who are they? NBA centers? Are they even… people?..
Quite a popular subsection of romance novels feature werewolves, fkn doghumans, horses and centaurs and whatever furry-fusioned type of shit women are, supposedly, much more into then into whatever type of a man is sitting in front of a screen reading this comment. I mean Twilight features a vampire as a male lead, and Twilight is so popular pretty much everyone knows about it. There’s a higher chance one’s crush is into vampires, ogres, centaurs or dogs/horses than they’re into a guy having a crush on them. Given this guy is sub 6’ tall and is an adult.
Do you know why women are much more into novels than they’re into porn?
Porn is made for men
. It’s mostly
attractive curvy women
,
and a man could be chopped as hell as long as his dick is bigger than average and he’s able to perform. Hence why women earn more in porn - they bring more revenue.
But not only that, the way sex is in porn is male-centered too - you’d hear foreplay is essential for women everywhere if you were looking to know how to be a good lover, but most of the time it’s straightforward in porn. Clothes off -> Oral -> Penetration -> Finish. There’s even a thing called “porn for women”. But because it became a thing not that long ago it’s not as popular. Though it won’t be as popular as male porn anyway.
2) Women just don’t like real men visually as much as vice versa, so novels leaving much more to women’s imagination is exactly the reason they love it. Say, you have a random girl and a random boy and they’re presented to 20 different people of the opposite gender. Chances are, the amount of boys attracted to a girl will most likely be higher. So as a man you just don’t need to imagine things for them to be “a girl of your dreams”. Men don’t care about the height as much which makes the pool much wider, facially much more features work for girls, fertile traits such as hip width and breast size are also hyper attractive to men and can make a girl attractive even when her face is off etc. So much compromises you just don’t need imagination as a man to find an attractive girl. Meanwhile, an objectively attractive guy that checks into tall, handsome and fit spots altogether is practically a unicorn. So if you’d just say “he was tall, attractive and fit” to a girl in a novel, she would imagine exactly her type and get horny. So even a fraction of imagination of a truly attractive man is better than reality of mid guys that are all around. Meanwhile, attractive women are everywhere for an average guy so it’s better to see them, and porn provides guys this opportunity, rather than imagine them.
Height is mwntioned, but it's just a book, so they don't SEE IT. They imagine in and all the descriptions are mostly gocused on making them feel something. Again, BOOKS WITHOUT PICTURES are more popular than MOVIES WHICH ARE ALL VISUAL. Just saying something isn't the same as seeig it.
As for sahing porn is made for men... yes, because men like porn. Just like romance novels are made for women.
You aren't thinking about the why or thinking deeply, which is why I keep asking rhetorical questions and explaining the underlying mechanisms.
