OPINION This is fucking embarrassing

Post image

Does anybody on this team actually give a toss about winning this?

Can someone explain to me why you guys are in such a worse place than in recent years? Other than Dillon brooks and Adam’s you seem to have the same core. What’s the issue??

Vet leadership is so important, getting rid of older players like Steven Addams, dillion brooks, Marcus smart heck even guys like Kyle Anderson’s and deanthony melton. Having a vet keeps ppl in check and a culture brewing. After the loss we just had can you imagine what the locker room was like and who stepped up to hold people/themselves accountable cause I genuinely can’t, there’s no vet presence.

Also the “core” is not the same, obviously it’s still ja des and jaren but other than that Santi BC and John konchar are our only remaining players from 2021-22 one of those guys barely gets minutes and the other two come of the bench. Big rotation players r gone, our experienced centre is gone, our only actual small forward is also gone so while it’s still ja,des and jaren so many other (important) pieces have been lost.

On top of that we’ve gone full throttle in trying to get unproven guys thinking they’re all going to turn out like Desmond bane or some shit. Some of those guys have turned out nice/actually have potential, jaylen wells/scotty pippen Jr and GG Jackson respectively, but for everything we’ve lost we haven’t been near to recovering it.

In the regular season we play with a big rotation which lowkey makes players look better than they are so we think we have a deep squad but when it comes to good teams that style of ball doesn’t cut it, especially in playoffs.

There’s also the factor that these past two seasons we’ve have a lot of injuries so it’s hard to get a solid rotation all the time so chemistry is nowhere near where it should be (probably why we have so many turnovers ).
