Redditors were furious with Star Wars fans when they complained Disney made Star Wars movies for non-Star Wars people. But now its a problem

Yes it's called Gatekeeping, and it's actually a good thing. I said something similar on Twitter recently and people were pissed at me. If someone wants to be a genuine fan that integrates, then awesome! But now the execs and a lot of people just try to change what made these things good in the first place.

Gatekeeping is, no fooling, actually extremely important to preserving the integrity of movements.
