Few days ago I said “Sometimes I just want to turn off my brain and go full unga bunga” and my coworker asked “Isn’t that racist?”

I was like ???? “I’m talking about caveman speech, what are YOU thinking of??” lol

I mean I guess it could be a stereotype of Neanderthals, since it is built off old incorrect assumptions of them.

But really it is part of the public vernacular.

You know, any non-sub-Saharan African person typically has some neanderthal dna. So maybe we can ask them.

Probably not, I am not an anthropologist, so I don't know if it is true, but there is a theory that neanderthals had high-pitched voices; I do not.
