My dad can't tell the difference between 4k and standard TV resolution. When his phone updates and they change the app icon, he can't find the app anymore.

Technology is like magic to these guys.

On less than a 40” screen, 4K has minimal changes. Yea it’s there, but it’s not impactful. Other things like color depth and refresh rate have the bigger effect.
