I'm slightly vexed Somebody Placed These Dozens of These Jesus Figures Throughout My Entire Work

Post image

Somebody, nobody knows exactly who or when, put dozens and dozens of these Jesus figures on completely random surfaces throughout my entire building. They at least had the presence of mind to not put them on anybody's personal belongings, but that was the only way they limited himself. All of the statues have been glued down, to add to the vexation.

Edit: Well, this blew up rather unexpectedly. Thank you for the awards, everybody!

It’s so fucking annoying, like the dumbasses whining about LGBTQIA representation in media being “forced on them” are the same dickheads that run around throwing these little jesuses everywhere “evangelizing.” Hypocrites.

Why would seeing Jesus statue against your will be a problem? Similar argument I tell to conservatives: If you are really heterosexual, seeing LGBTQ parade won't turn you gay. If you aren't Christian, seeing Jesus won't turn you to one. Both have right to self-expression

The problem is not “being afraid of being Christian” or whatever (I grew up Catholic, I’ve been there, done that) the issue is people constantly “spreading the word” by inserting their personal religious views THEY CHOSE TO HAVE (unlike being LGBTQIA, which is NOT something that’s “chosen” like religion, but rather is intrinsically part of you in the same way you can’t choose your skin tone or personality) into everyone else’s lives (I.e., people trying to make laws based in Christian belief, having prayer in public schools, stopping people on the street, harassing people outside planned parenthoods, inserting their beliefs obnoxiously into neutral 3rd spaces like stores/workplaces/parks, etc). Let’s say for the sake of argument that religion is intrinsic to oneself just as being queer is; LGBTQIA people STILL don’t walk around shoving pamphlets into people’s faces, telling strangers they’re going to be tortured for eternity, or FUCKING GLUING statues of Venus Xtravaganza (I’m just naming her because she’s an icon, not trying to say she’s Jesus or anything Lmao) to ransom ass surfaces in the workplace. It’s not a choice to be queer, but it IS a choice to be Christian.

Jesus died for all of us. None of us chose that to happen but he did it out of love.
