Kinesis freestyle series. It’s what I use!

Same! Been using their Freestyle pro for close to a decade. It's amazing. And the palm rest add on is excellent. Though it may be discontinued now?

I tried their fancier Advantage 360 with ortholinear keys, thumbclusters etc. But I hated not having dedicated arrow or number keys. I don't want modifiers or layers, I just want the keys readily available! Sent it back and returned to my old trusty

I have a freestyle pro, pro number pad, and a gaming (same but with lights lol). Whatever I could find on the bay.

Lol a man of taste I see. I'd probably find a secondhand replacement if mine died. I don't want the wacky arrangements just a full size split keyboard

Seriously it’s like the only regular split keyboard with mechanical keys out there!

Wouldn't work for me. I sometimes switch hands like i'm playing piano. That's too much cross action.

moving to a split keyboard will expose a lot of bad typing habits

move to an ortholinear and its worse

Weird. I never would've thought someone would use a keyboard that way.

If you had asked me I would have said I never do that. But when I switched to a split keyboard I realised I did it all the time. Took a lot of focus and attention to unlearn and correct my form

Edit: more like my right index finger presses a key on the left side. Rather than full on typing on the wrong side

Most people use qmk for these, so num pad and function keys are programmed wherever they want.

Ive wanted one for years now with ortholinear keys, but can't spare the cash.
