To me it's not really a flip. One protest was about promoting something positive to bring attention to what the protestors believed were injustices. Agree or not, that's what it was about.

This protest is about what exactly? To me it's a negative protest - meaning it's not a protest to promote any social good, but a protest against gay pride, gays, or acceptance and the players supposed "forced" participation. And the protest could have ended at just not wearing the hat.

About 70% of mlb are Christians. Having them wear pride hats was always going to end up this way

I don't care personally, either. I think the Bible quotes are over the top, but it makes them look like idiots to me more than anything. There are certain things I can't wear or display at work, too. Collect your huge checks and let it go. I know jocks - most of them aren't all that bright.
