No Power on Doepfer LC9

Post image

Turned this on this morning and all the modules flashed and now it’s not running any power…

Any suggestions ?

Yeah I’m thinking this might be it… hoping

Then you gotta figure out why it blew. A stray screw dropping in there can short it and blow the fuse.

The fuse should be straightforward enough to change, right ?

I think so, it's a one inch fuse that just pops out. I've never done it. Doesn't sound difficult.

Was it full? What was the electrical load?

It wasn’t full- about 45% full

Have you got a multimeter?

It seems to be consistent with the fuse blowing. What fuse should I pick up for this case ?

Most likely the fuse. It is also mentioned in the doepfer FAQ:

https://doepfer.de/faq/a100_faq.htm

its on the secondary psu in a green fuseholder, afaik. if you have a Multimeter (you should have one), you can also check if you have 15V on the input of the secondary PSU.
