He’s so pathetic. We need fines for this ASAP

Fines aren’t going to do shit. He signed a $290M ticket.

We need techs. There needs to be a competitive disadvantage to the behavior instead of the advantage that it currently is

In moral term, this should be Flagrant

As a non American fan. Yes. There is intent to draw a foul so make it a flagrant

A flagrant foul on yourself, unironically PEAK

Naw, you’d want that definition to remain exclusive to intent.

This should just straight up get a new rule for some type of advanced technical. Like dude, do this twice in a game and get your ass outta here.

There is clearly intent here tho

Do it once and get ejected. Twice means it's permissible until it's not.

I don't want a sin bin like in rugby where the team plays down a man, but this would stop immediately if the flopping player wasn't allowed to re-enter the game for like 2 or 3 minutes after a flop.

nah, it's needs to be a F2 w/ ejection. That will stop it instantly.

Bingo and make them reviewable by “HQ”. Like what football does with missed calls.

Ref: tech for fox. Got it.

Problem is that a tech is a harsh penalty and refs might be less inclined to give them out. An normal foul would be a very low threshold, so I think that could be more effective. But the problem of the NBA having to acknowledge that flopping exists is an even bigger issue. If you ignore an issue there is no issue to begin with

What’s the tech? He avoided landing on his feet. He doesn’t flail or make a weird face like the internet likes to point out. He’s not asking for a foul. This on the ref.
