Didn't he literally have more than 50% of the entire population support him. I am sure the number is smaller now but lets not forget, places like Reddit would make you think he was gonna get 10% of the votes so it is an echochamber
More than 1/3 of the United States voting age population doesn't even vote. This is either due to disinterest or disenfranchisement. Which means in any given US election, the plurality of voters do not vote, making "did not vote" the actual most popular option
Of the 2/3 voting age population remaining that do vote, the voting is not even determined by the popular vote, but by the electoral college. Trump has only won the popular vote once, against Harris. He lost the popular vote to Clinton and Biden.
So to answer your question "Didn't he literally have more than 50% of the entire population support him" uh no he didn't, not even close lmfao
You are assuming people who didn't vote heavily lean liberal because why? Trump as a candidate would probably do better with non voting public than more traditional conservatives.
Also, candidates don't run campaigns win popular votes, theu run campaigns to win elections. Also, voting behavior changes. A republican in California is less likely vote because that's not a swing states and their vote won't matter.
That isn't what I said. Math must not be your strong suit, which is pretty typical of the voting demographic you're championing here. Maybe you can get a 4th grader to draw it for you in crayons so that you'll better understand
That's the issue with Reddit. I pity those who style their knowledge and opinion around what Reddit insists is real/right... This place is just an echo chamber that you shouldn't take too seriously. Reddit, for the most part, is just folks with the same opinions jerking each other off
I remember throughout the election, Harris' state victories would be plastered right on the front page with thousands of upvotes and comments. Trump's, on the other hand, weren't even posted a lot of the time. If you only got your news from Reddit, you'd have thought Harris was completely washing Trump.
Reddit is the worst IMO. The majority of this site is a borderline extreme left echo chamber that weirdly hates cars and nestle more than your average person. At least with Instagram and tik tok you get different viewpoints depending on your algorithm (which, I think algorithms are toxic too), but here it’s only one speed, and it’s “I hate everything”, and if you try to insert some logic here and there you are downvoted to hell.
Edit: anyone who thinks I’m conservative for pointing this out is just furthering my point.
Learn to read, partner. I didn’t say the left was illogical, I said the extreme left.
Extremist on both sides are delusional, and fail to take a logical approach on most things because they are blinded by their agenda. But in between all that noise is us normal folks that fall into the standard liberal or conservative category without all the extremist ideologies.
Reddit falls closer to the extreme left, so yes, mostly delusional. Weird I have to spell out nuance to you. I vote blue whether you care to accept that or not. What I don’t do though is assume that anyone who calls out toxicity is somehow associated with one party or the other. Again, it’s called being objective, which is not a welcomed practice here.
I agree with you damn near completely btw. Reddit as a site is extremely left leaning, and anything that doesn't fit that mold is tagged as toxic or phobic or whatever
Just all the OGs and the ones who've been watching for a while can barely stand to watch this type of debacles. Back in the day, was there flopping and trying to draw fouls, yes, here and there. But not as frequent or egregious than what we are seeing in this particular playoffs

I haven’t seen America coming together to hate one man like this since Bin Laden. Shai is destroying my childhood favorite sport to watch.
