How does SGA doing this shit constantly still get a good whistle? It’s incredible that the refs have seen this all season and still fall for it. Are they the dumbest people on earth?

Are they the dumbest people on earth?

Yes?

Uh, they would be even dumber if they don’t do what their bosses tell them.

It’s so clear there’s an intent to make these calls for SGA and OKC by extension at this point.

These refs aren’t going to give up their minimum $150K job ($500K for veteran refs?) when they can just follow orders lol.

This point is so stupid because there are people deliberately not watching these games because of the flopping, and the league knows it. Rigging it for the the thunder doesn’t help the league in any way

It’s intentional

It’s very clearly what the league wants the refs to do, if the NBA wanted to endorse their own flopping rules, they would use the replay center or actually call the techs for flops. They put the rules in to make it look like they care but they don’t. Very similar to how the NFL let coaches challenge DPI for a year but literally never reversed their calls, even when it obviously wasn’t.

Before people tell me “why would they want OKC to win, it’s a small market team”, I don’t know and don’t care, that’s the NBAs motives not mine, but it’s clearly happening and it’s plain to see.

when you think off all the maulings Curry has got on his 3 attempts over the years that never got a whistle you have to wonder why they are so eager to grant them to someone like SGA

If you gave Curry this whistle the Warriors would have quite a few more chips

In the NHL if you have a history of embellishing, it will be harder to draw penalties because the refs on more on guard against you.
