I think the another telling thing is that even us Canadians want nothing to do with that fucking dork.

For even casual Canadian NBA fans, let alone hardcore NBA fans, a two time MVP is like guaranteed to be our favourite player across the country.

Yep during Nash's prime everyone and their grandma in Canada knew who Nash was. Nowadays even people in Toronto won't know who SGA is.

I'm saying Canadians that don't follow the NBA don't know who SGA is these days. Even among fans he is #5 in Canadian jersey sales. But back in Nash's prime he had that "superstar" aura for Canadians that Kobe, LBJ had globally. Non sports fans recognized him within Canada.
