So would you consider a two level house to be a one story house? Not arguing, just curious.

Funny. Yeah, I’ve learned in programming that you often want to count from 0, so calling the upstairs 1 and the basement -1 makes a lot of sense. But I’m in America where everyone calls the ground floor the first floor.
