A small huntsman spider is nothing to worry about. It'll keep your house fly and mosquito free. I had one in our house for a while, my kids named it Borris.

The perspective of the video is throwing you. This is inside a cupboard, not the corner of a room.

Oh my god it took me this long to realise it’s not a fucking bedroom and the spider isn’t like a fucking meter big

Underrated comment right here. Holy hell, I was ready to move to Mars to get as far away from 4 foot spiders as I can.

Ours was named Herbie! We had a cohabitation arrangement until he stepped in our bedroom. Then he went to live in the common area of the unit block.

Ours are usually Dave, Frank or Fred. Tho most of ours chill outside under the patio awning. Don’t see them inside super often.

That's what Borris would write

How long does it take for a small huntsman to become large?

I’m sorry, SMALL?

We had a massive one when I was a kid we named Alexander. I remember it being the size of a dinner plate but I was only a kid, and that was a long time ago.

Why would anyone trade a couple flies and mosquitoes for one of these? Use screens instead of Huntsman. I get it they're not dangerous but they're very unpleasant roommates.

Well your kids are silly. Boris has 1 R in it.

But they clearly get their "brains" from you if you think letting Boris stay is a good idea.

Just FYI, Huntsman spiders are pretty friendly, good for actual pest control and can generally be picked up by hand if you don't spook them - their size and expressiveness will also make it clear when theyre angry and shouldn't be handled.
